I know this is a small gripe, but allow me to vent. Now, if you pay your water bill via phone OR online, you have to pay a $2 convenience fee. The only way not to pay a fee is to pay by CHECK.
Seriously? It's 2013!
ETA I realize it's probably because of the fee they have to pay to accept credit cards but still, it's so annoying.

Yup, they are pushing the credit card charge onto the customers. We have our set up as a direct debit from our checking account to avoid paying a fee.

Can you do bill pay through your bank? I have mine set up with Bank of America an they mail my company a check each month.

That is so annoying! Like T.H.O.U. mentioned, some banks let you do bill pay through their website, and they'll send a check on your behalf. I hate wasting a stamp and a check for a monthly bill!
