It's almost February, I can't believe it! Do you you have any plans for Valentine's Day?

We don't have any concrete plans because husband might be working on the actual day but we agreed to make this one extra special since it will be our last one before baby is here.

We usually cook dinner in and watch a movie... not very exciting :o)

@CarrieLouWho: We usually do the same. We alternate who cooks each year. I actually enjoy it much more than going out!

Hubby is having surgery a week before. Hopefully he'll be home recovering ...

We never do much. I might plan to cook an awesome surprise meal and get some candles though, since I get home an hour before him

I can't believe it either! DH is traveling on Vday. Maybe LO and I will get something yummy to eat

We don't really celebrate in the traditional sense (trying to avoid buying into the whole card and chocolates thing) but for the past couple of years we have bought some items that a particular charity was in need of and dropped them off on Valentine's Day. And we do usually cook a nice meal together, too.

We're going out to dinner with two of our couple friends the Saturday before Valentine's Day, so that should be fun. No plans for actual Valentine's Day though. Probably staying in and doing something low-key.

We usually always go out to dinner, but we don’t exchange gifts or flowers/chocolates or anything else. We’re going to our fave special occasion restaurant – they are having a special Valentine’s Day dinner menu. Can’t wait.

Probably nothing since hubby is working. Who knows, he could surprise me. We usually avoid going out on v day.

I have a plan to make him something baby related as a gift. Does that count? We've really been slacking in the whole celebrating holidays thing. I'd love to step it up and go to dinner but, we'd be taking an infant soooooo not exactly romantic.

We decided to keep it simple and cheap this year. Romantic dinner in. Just us cuddlin up and at home.
DH did tell me what my Birthday/ Valentines day gift was already. Plane ticket back home to go to a family reunion. He kinda had to tell me so I could work with my fam back home about what time to get in and for me to take off work!

I have every Tuesday off, and Hubs will randomly have that Tuesday off as well, so we're talking about renting a houseboat/floating cabin on Monday night.

DH is away for work the whole week so we will probably celebrate the weekend before. We usually go out to dinner and buy each other something small but thoughtful. Since I will be alone on v-day I plan to get some takeout and watch girly t.v.
