DH asked me what I wanted for V-day. I said, nothing in particular, I just want to be surprised!
THE HARDEST TASK EVER!
Any plans for V-day?

We are staying in and making fondue after DS goes to bed. Not sure what else yet! We don't like battle the restaurant crowds so we usually stay home anyway

DH and I's anniversary is just 4 days after Valentine's day, so we usually skip it and celebrate that instead.

I think my parents are coming down to stay with us for the weekend on Valentines day! We have some house projects they are helping us with and we never really celebrate anyways. Usually a card at most. And sometimes my husband will buy me a Reese's egg because they're always out already and they are my fav candy ever (best shape! lol).

We're on a budget this year, so instead of going to an expensive restaurant ($40+/person), we're gonna order our hearts out at a neighborhood restaurant with great food.

We are doing dinner at a trendy restaurant in town. My assistant offered to babysit for us. We want it to be easy for her so we are going to do a later dinner so the baby will already be asleep when the she gets to our house.

Probably not. E is due for a well-baby/shots that day, though.

We don't celebrate V-day because DH doesn't like it. I plan to get B a small gift and make it a special mommy/son thing as he gets older though! Well, until he becomes too "cool" to be mommy's Valentine.

We never really do anything. Will just make a nice dinner after R goes to sleep.

We probably will just do our normal nightly dinner with lil B. I don't know if DH will cook (he is a chef and only cooks on "special occasions")

We probably will just make a nice dinner at home, and I'll get small gifts for my LO & DH.

DH is working so I guess we are not celebrating. I told him to get me a new diaper bag but he said I have a diaper bag problem.

We've never celebrated Valentine's Day (just bought 1/2 price chocolate afterwards). But this year, we're leaving for vacation on the 15th...so that kind of counts as Valentine's!

Gestational diabetes test in the morning that day! I don't know if we'll do anything that night. Maybe just rent a movie and stay in.

Usually that's one of our favorite holidays and we get really into it, but with a 3.5 month old we'll probably just cook something nice at home. I'm hoping my parents will babysit a couple weekends afterwards so we can go out!

@rahlyrah: DH is taking DD out so I'm going to spend it with DS. DH and I have never really celebrated it so I'm hoping we can make it a mom/son, father/daughter celebration at least for awhile.

I have to work until 9 pm on weekdays, so we'll be going out on the 15th, which is a Saturday. My mom got us a gift card for a fancy restaurant in our city for Christmas, so we'll be using it for our Valentine's dinner

DH will be gone, so no plans. We don't really do anything, anyway. I bought him some of his fav candies and chocolate and be bought me some flowers and the Skyfall DVD last year and we just hung out at home. Perfection.

We never do anything for it. Our dating anniversary is the day before so we used to celebrate that day but now we celebrate our wedding anniversary instead so no celebrations for us!

Usually I just make copious amounts of desserts and DH has to work. Still don't know if he's working this year, but if he's off then I have a babysitter lined up so that we can get a late dinner after the kids are in bed.

We're looking into getting Brian Regan tickets but that's $$!

Apparently DH dislikes Valentine's Day. News to me. He's never mentioned it before. He will probably still do a little something special for me. My birthday is a bit over a week away, so it's usually nothing terribly big.

We never do much for V-day. This year, we will have 'adult dinner' after the kids go to bed. I want to just do mussels and chocolate fondue, but need to run it by the dude first.

I was just thinking about this-we need to get on it, because V-Day is a Friday night this year!

Nope we aren't big into Valentine's Day. DH will actually be going to a thing for bands he is sponsoring and I'm fine with staying home
I went before and I was so sore and tired from being there all night. Doing that at about 35 weeks pregnant at that time? No thanks!

@raintreebee: if you're not in labor, you totally need to have a lovely last dinner

My birthday is right before Vday and we're going to take our babymoon for a little getaway to the beach. It's covering all of the birthday/Vday/babymoon bases

I'm off of work that day so we'll probably go out for lunch instead of dinner to avoid the crowds. That also means we'll have to bring M, but I have the cutest heart dress from BG for her to wear!

My friend offered to sit with the kids on 2/8, so we're gonna celebrate early. Gonna check out a restaurant I've been wanting to try!
