My birthday is the 13th so our general rule is going out for dinner on/for my birthday and staying in on Vday with pizza and a scary movie. This year we booked dinner reservations for the 15th so my parents can watch L for us.

@Mae: I'm addicted to the egg shape! I thought I was the only one that noticed how much better those are! Can't wait.

We are staying in and having a fancy dinner DH isn't big on valentine's day but I still like to celebrate with something small...just not in public, too crowded!

It's my birthday, so probably nothing. We like to do stuff the next day, but currently don't have plans.

I don't like V-Day. My husband usually cooks a fancy dinner though. This year it's 9 days before my due date so I doubt I will care much either way.

We're staying in, and my husband is cooking dinner; I've requested salmon. I'll probably bake something while he works, that day. We're getting DD a board book, and some festive jammies. I'm sure my husband and I will just exchange cards.

We usually go to a local sushi place. But I'm not sure if I can stomach it this year being pregnant.

My students and I are doing a charity event at our local animal shelter- we are making heart shaped dog cookies and decorating kennels to bring attention to the pups in need of a home

At home- I'll probably just throw together a pizza, and we'll have some wine and watch a movie.

@MamaJ Ooooh fondue sounds like a great idea. I always forget that I have a fondue pot...

My birthday is the week before V-day so it's hard to do two big celebrations back-to-back. I don't mind V-day being more low-key.
