What's the protocol on vomiting toddlers? The ped doesn't open for 40 minutes. Should I be calling their emergency line?
C was cranky last night and fought bedtime. She went to sleep around 11 and woke up an hour last coveted in vomit. She slep in our bed and threw up in our bed a half hour later.
Back to bed around 2, woke up at 7 vomiting. It looked like bile this time.
She threw up again just a few minutes ago.
She can't keep food down; she took one tiny bite of a saltine and threw up.
Stomach flu? How worried should we be?
we just went thru this a little while ago. Make sure not to offer liquids until the vomiting stops. I was afraid of dehydration so offered unlimited water but you're only supposed to offer a sip every 15 mins until the vomiting stops. No dairy at all. We did sips of water until vomiting slowed, then dry toast. Good luck
