I feel sick and won't be working today...my ears and throat hurt pretty bad and my voice is shot. I think my LO might be getting sick too...she usually sleeps through the night but she woke up 4 times last night!
I'm sure my coworkers and boss feel like I'm being super lazy when I take sick days on my work at home days! Do you take sick time?

I work outside my home, but when I'm sick I work from home, rather than take a sick day, unless I'm so sick I can't stay awake or something.

@autumnlove: I think it makes you look LESS lazy. Because, when you work from home no one really knows exactly how much work you do, so I think a lot of people wouldn't bother calling out sick and would just do the bare minimum. But you are honestly saying, I feel like crap, I'm using a sick day.
When I'm sick, I usually work from home and definitely get less work than usual done. But we just get days off, that can be used for sick or vacation or personal, so I'd rather do some work while I'm sick so I can use those days as vacation. I only use sick if I'm really really sick.

I do! I'm my own boss though, so the only person giving me flack about it is myself 
Everyone is allowed a sick day! If things are really piled up, I try to pick just the light fluffy stuff to do and save the more complex stuff for the next day when my head is in the game a bit more. Napping is definitely a good idea!
