Ok - I bought wooden letters from Walmart and I'm painting them white. Help me pick how to hang them!

I think it depends on a few factors. If the letters take up a lot of space on the wall I would hang in a row. If you need something extra I like the banner. Personally, I think the ribbon could look a little feminine, so if that works if go for that. I have wood letters I just hung in a downward diagonal line.

@babycanuck: I think they would look best in a straight line. Especially because you're painting them.

I think it depends on your wall spacing and how long your DS's name is. Is there enough room to do one line for both names? Or do you want to do first name then stagger the middle name on the second right but not directly underneath the first name, etc.?
Either way, I would just hang it on the wall vs hanging them on a banner.

I like them on a wall in a line. I tried a bunch of different placements and the line looked the best - but maybe this also depends on the length of the name?
The one thing I did that I really recommend is using 3M picture hanging strips to hang them. Really secure and easy to move/reposition if you change your mind.

@babycanuck: probably simpler is better - too much and it will loose the charm. I would just hang in a nice clean line.
