The moment you realize instead of 2 layers of wallpaper there are: 2 layers, 1 coat of paint, and another f****** layer of wallpaper.

We had something similar when we bought our house - my husband ended up sanding it off with a sander.

@raspberries: I'm intrigued! This sounds less messy than the watery sticky mess I've created using a steamer. I may have to look into this!

We did a lot of sanding on our walls too when we moved in. It makes a layer of dust in the whole house, but it was pretty straight forward.

@winter_wonder: Yes, what @Lahela017: said, it's super dusty! Make sure your furniture is moved out/ covered and the door is shut if possible. I'm not gonna say the sander made it easy, but it was definitely easier than doing it by hand.
