UGH- I have to work all weekend. I was supposed to go to a football game (2 hours away at my alma mater) with my family today but can't because I just got a pile of work dumped on me that needs to be out the door by Monday. Even working all weekend I'm not sure it is physically possible to get all this work done. And at 7 months pregnant I'm super duper hormonal about it 
Anyone else having a rough go of it today?

How frustrating! I fell down the stairs this morning carrying the laundry basket and hurt my shoulder pretty badly. Now I can't lift my left arm more than 4 inches from my side, boo.

@Smurfette: I think the babysitter must have dropped it last nigth. It worked all night but when I tried to turn it off this morning the power button was broken and I couldn't turn it off. So once the battery died we couldn't turn it back in. Uhhhhh.

Ugh, I'm sorry.
E has a wicked bad diaper rash that looks like flayed skin, and he (understandably) screams when I try to wipe poop off his butt...this morning when I was debating just tossing him in the tub he pulled his legs through the dirty diaper...tub it was. This was after he head-butted my face so hard that I'll probably bruise. It happened at 4:30ish, when I was up with him for the 5th time. Stupid cold makes it impossible for him to sleep very long. I was exhausted and feeling like poo too, but my husband caught the cold and was worse off then me. I'm trying to convince myself the day can only go up.

I've absolutely had it with this sleep/ nap bs. We let her cry herself to sleep after waking up and nothing working. I feel like a terrible parent because we aren't even crying it out the right way. And now Dh is off playing golf while I stay here and do the same bs I do every other day, only he is having fun not working. And her baptism is tomorrow so family is all coming in and I want her in a good mood, but thy won't happen without sleep, and her naps will be worse than usual tomorrow being out all afternoon, so it's pretty much a terrible time to sleep train anyway.
That's my pity party. Sorry you have to work- that blows, especially when you had fun plans to look forward to.

@Foodnerd81: I'm so sorry you're dealing with this today - and all on your own as well. Hugs for you too. Remember, babies are mysterious creatures and she may well surprise you tomorrow. I hope you have a lovely day. When your DH gets in later, kick him in the balls for me (humph - leaving you alone to play golf indeed!)

@Cherrybee: @MrsH: yeah it's an ongoing issue. I don't want to be his mother telling what he can and can't do, and he hasn't played in over a month. But it still sucks and feels really unfair. Lucky for me golf season is almost over. If we ever have another baby I'll have to time it outside of golf season I guess.
On the plus side C actually fell asleep in her swing and has been down for over 30 minutes (after 25 minutes of fussing with me laying on the hardwood floor looking like a crime scene victim next to her). And now in my lovely down time, I'm pumping. Blah.

@LindsayInNY: Gah, by the end of this month I will be so far over my hours I will only have like 30 hours left to fulfill my requirements. Too bad I have so much crap that needs to get done before I go on mat. leave that not working isn't an option. womp womp.

@MrsH: I'd rather be in your position!! I have like 400 hours to go and am on vacation the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas. I figure I'll have to work a bit during Christmas? Our requirement is insane though which really sucks.

I'm joining! It's breakfast time on Sunday here and I'm going to be working all day to finish this administrative project by Monday. Six months pregnant too, so it's just not as easy to solidly focus on the work, plus I woke up with a ripping headache. Woe is me!

@MrsH: You may have already tried this, but when L had bad diaper rash we used wet paper towels instead of wipes. He still didn't like it, but it minimized the screaming since it didn't urn on his skin like the baby wipes did.
This is a totally stupid thing to complain about, but I'm just feeling bored and lonely today. LO can't talk yet or do anything on his own so it's not like I'm getting conversation or free time at home, DH works 60 hours a week, my friends have all dropped off the face of the planet since I moved a whopping 40 minutes away and never have the time to see me, and my parents are out of state because my dad's father died (which is a whole different story entirely.) I need to make some friends. God, that sounds lame.
