I've never seen it.
I don't love movies with ensemble casts, so I stated away from this one when it was out. Maybe I'll rent it

@T-Mom: I agree!!! I love Alan Rickman but he really made me HATE him in that movie!!!

I remember absolutely loving it, so we watched it last weekend when my mom was visiting. I still like it, but was struck, and bothered, by all the fat-shaming jokes and anti-American sentiment in it. Not one of my favorites anymore.

@erinpye: How did I miss the anti-American sentiment? Colin seems to love the Americans quite a bit, actually!!! :):):)

@nana87: I cry every time too. We rewatched it tonight and I remarked to my mum and DH that I always think that's the best-acted and most realistic scene of the entire movie. Particularly the fact that she has to pull herself together so quickly and act normal in front of her children....it kills me every time.

@meganmp: Americans in the film are heavily stereotyped: the slutty girls from the bar, the skeevy, pushy president, etc.

It's one of my favorite movies. Ever. In any season. I am such a sucker for Love Actually.

I know I've seen it at least twice and yet I barely remember it so I say meh.

I wouldn't say I hate it vehemently or anything but I do find it super cheesy and unwatchable. To each their own but to me MEH.

Hmm I remember loving it but I haven't watched it in a long long time. I own the DVD so of course now I must get it out and watch. DH always makes fun of me when I say I liked this movie and thinks I have some huge crush on Hugh Grant or something.

Love Actually got better for me the more and more I watched it. Can't believe it's been out for almost 10 years now, and there's so much criticism over it. Please... It's a romantic comedy... don't overanalyze it!
I do *love* that it wasn't your typical rom com either though. I thought it portrayed love and its many facets pretty well *for* a rom com!

I love it, but I'm also not over analyzing it. We watch it every Christmas at least once.

I love it. I watch it at least once every Christmas. I don't think it is meant to be realistic any more than Christmas Vacation is. It was clearly over-the-top. I still it a lot.

@BananaPancakes: That's about where I am. I enjoy it but don't think too hard about it. This year I watched it while putting together our tree.
