I really want to TTC like now, that would make my LO's 21-22 months apart, and that's my ideal spacing. DH is having a hard time with the idea and wants to wait till our LO is closer to 2. If it were to happen, he would be happy but he would rather wait.
How did you get your DH on board with ideal spacing for LO's? Did you compromise?

We were both on board for trying for #2 when LO was close to turning 1 but we got pregnant before that.
We are not on the same page for #3...I'm still pregnant with #2 and I don't really want to seriously think about it yet. He wants to start in early 2014 but I want to wait longer...we shall see!

I think I really started the tracking and monitoring cycle. I didn't tell him about using OPK but I brought him a positive one and told him that meant I was ovulating. He DTD that night so I assume he was on board!

I'm currently preggo with #1, but we've already had talks about when we'd start trying for #2! We've been on the same time frame so far. We'll see how it goes once #1 is here though. haha!

I started thinking about TTC#2 when LO had just turned one but was afraid to bring it up with DH because I thought I'd be so sad if he wasn't on board so I just kept my feelings under wraps for a few more months. Then one day I casually asked him when he might think he'd be ready to TTC#2 and his face lit up and said, "Right away!" So yeah, i think he was on board!

I'm only 25 weeks pregnant with LO #1, and my husband is already talking about number 2! He wants to start trying when this LO is a year old. But I just quietly laugh to myself....
I feel like he might change his opinions big time when this LO gets here and he sees that it's not a walk-in-the-park to raise a child!

DH was ready for number two as soon as the first was born! He's the one who wants all our kids close together (but I'm not against it!)

I've been wanting to TTC for #2 for awhile.... but DH actually has some good, practical reasons why we should wait. I think as long as I have a timeline and know that eventually I get to have another baby, I'm ok with it.

Yea my husbands not even sure he wants another (its a constant discussion in our house) and I want to start trying immediately after the first is born (which he knows). It took 18 months this time (I'm 15 weeks pregnant) and my sister and I are 22 months apart and I love it. I'd rather my kids be closer in age rather then further apart, also selfishly I'd like to be pregnant/breast-feeding for 2-3 years and then be done instead of waiting between.

We've discussed that i will stop the depo shot before lo turns 1 (think the last one will be 1-2 months before her birthday and will see what happens without contraception.

When LO was born we agreed that we would just NTNP from then on. We both knew we would love having a child,but neither of us had any idea how much we would love it.

DH wanted another pretty much right away. He convinced me to start trying around 6 months pp.

He was, only cause she was an "oops" and we weren't being very careful, lol. He was excited when I got pregnant, though.
He'll be on board to try again once or if I'm ready...he's all about making sure I'm happy.
