I am just over 5 weeks, and have always been a huge water drinker. It's my beverage of choice. This morning, all of a sudden, water is gross. WTH?!?! I'm not sure what to do now. Try a different cup? Choke it down anyway?

I had this for a bit early on as well. Try adding a little flavoring to it: lemon wedges, Crystal Light, cucumbers, ect. to give it a different flavor, this made me drink as much as I was used too (if not more!)

@aprk: Yup this happened to me too during pregnancy. I had to mix it with other stuff to make sure I got enough water daily. Usually juice. And now I can't drink juice w/o adding water!
And the only way I could drink water after the first tri by itself was ICE cold. So I would stick a glass in the freezer till the top layer was frozen.

I can't get enough. My friend went through the same thing though. She would add Mio to give it some flavor. I think that she could handle Gatorade too.

I've been missing coffee and tea, so I like to cut up some fresh fruit (strawberry works the best) and mint leaves and I fill up a huge travel tumbler with ice and water and carry that around with me. It feels as fun as a fancy coffee and definitely an easy way to get in your water! I'll refill with the same fruit in there too.

@aprk: happened to me too! Like you I was a huge water drinker and would drink from my water bottle all day at work but when I got pregnant I could not stand it. I drank a lot of gatorade and powerade in a glass with tons if ice. I also kept a huge cup of ice next to me and ate ice chips all day.

I'm loving Mio lately! Way better than Crystal Light IMO because there are no gross clumps to deal with.
