We just finished Day One of Couch to 5K! It was easier than I thought it would be.

First, we bought this app for 2 bucks:

A pleasant computer lady then walked us through the workout. Basically Day One was as follows: "A brisk five-minute warmup walk. Then alternate 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking for a total of 20 minutes." Then we did a five-minute cooldown walk, for a total of 30 minutes. It wasn't too bad!

We plan to do it Monday/Wednesday/Friday during a work break. Supposedly by Week 9, we'll be able to do "a brisk five-minute warmup walk, then jog 3 miles (or 30 minutes)." We shall see.
