i wouldn't make DH wear anything like that, but I think it's a cool concept. Like if it said I love you, or your wedding date or something fun like that.

I kinda like it for me, since I dont wear my ring when I get home and sometimes I leave home without it by accident and hate it when I forget to wear it.
But yeah it doesnt seem comfy -
That looks uncomfortable, haha. Plus Hubs is always playing with his wedding band, spinning it around and such. Something like this would presumably be too tight to spin or it would leave weird indents if you did.

If he took off the ring, I don't think the impression would last all that long, so I don't see the point (assuming the goal is to mark your territory). I have seen rings on etsy that leave a heart mark, which I like a lot better--just for fun!
