I think there was only one, but I was fuming at the time about it! The limo dropped me off at church in the morning and they had the itinerary so they should have been waiting for us to get back into if after the ceremony to take us to the reception site. So we we were rushing to finish up some group photos and ran out the door to find that there was no limo! Everybody was already staring at us so we had to duck into a room near by. I called them frantically and the limo didn't come back till like 15min later! I was so mad b/c we have a tight timeline to get to the reception site to take pics, etc.

bummer! I think the only thing WE forgot was to give out the corsages before the ceremony.

The two other main things that were "oops" were that the flowers were totally the wrong color (I wanted green roses, the florist wanted to do purple and assured me it would be a dark almost-black purple. I said it was fine if she could get that color but under no circumstance did I want lavender flowers because I hate lavender and I'd rather have green or white in that case. Yea, they were lavender). And our cake topper toppled to the floor and our heads popped off. lol.

Oops: Officiant forgot that she was supposed to sing (it was her idea!!) and make a closing blessing. Immediately following the pronouncement and kiss she awkwardly shuffled us back down the aisle. Without the proper cues the sound guy got confused so our recessional didn't start until we were over half way down the aisle.

Near miss: My sister is in the miltary and only got about 24 hours leave for our wedding. Her flights were delayed and we thought she was going to miss it completely. She made it with less than an hour before the ceremony so it got a bit frazzled at the end! Luckily she fit into her dress and shoes..

These are hilarious- since it is all after the fact of course because the day of it would have bugged me too! We had a few bit thankfully my family was awesome at just handling stuff. We did leave the programs at my parents house and had to just forgo them- after my one and only melt down during the wedding process the day before because I didn't have time to do them so my mom, aunt and uncle spent all day putting them together.

My moh locked her keys in her car an hour before the wedding and insisted my dad stop what he was doing (setting things up) and get her camera out of her car. She kept insisting it was really important to her that she be able to take pictures. Well I asked her after the wedding if I could see them and it turned out she only took one photo all day... of herself.

We forgot to tell one of my husband's aunts that she needed to come to the rehearsal (she was reading a poem during the ceremony). My MIL was so mad at her (the aunt) for coming late (she came for dinner!), but it was totally our fault for not telling her she needed to come for the actual rehearsal part.

I think our biggest mistake was having a fully open bar, though, with no restrictions on shots or the premium hard liquor. So many drunk people! The whole second half of our reception was sort of a shit show with a passed bridesmaid, people hooking up in the bathroom, etc. I guess this is what happens when you get married at 23 and it's the first open bar all your friends have ever encountered. Now I always tell people that open bars are great, but you should specify no shots!

DH and the groomsmen were in the wrong spot to meet the photographer. So we were running late for pictures but in the end we got them all

Hm, we had a few!

My MOH fell down the stairs on the way to the limo to drive us to the church. She was ok but had to wear flip flops because she hurt her ankle.

My brother (a groomsman) got lost on the way to the church and made it just in time. I didn't even notice, but he said he was sick with dread because he thought he was going to ruin my wedding.

We ran out of beer! We had an outside caterer, and they provided the bartenders, but we provided the alcohol (from a local liquor store). The liquor store basically was supposed to deliver too much of everything and we could return whatever wasn't opened. Well we ran out part way through the reception and the liquor store sent a bunch more over IN A CAB! Like, alone, just the booze in the back seat. It was so odd, and at the time I was pissed at the liquor store for underestimating my drunk Irish family

The florist was missing the bird's nest for the ring bearer, they didn't label the grooms men's flowers so they got mixed up, the day of coordinater no showed, I forgot my earrings and underwear (yup! MOH was at the mall buying me undies and earrings while I got my hair done ). My ILs showed up two hours after they were supposed to be there, so I danced outside the whole time since the musicians and dancers were entertaining the guests but I couldn't go in yet. I didn't eat or drink all day & worked up a sweat dancing then almost passed out in front of everyone (we have pictures of my mom's friends feeding me fruit snacks and juice boxes, worst part, I had him in my mouth and one of them made me spit it in her hand... She's an angel!). Since we had no DOC, my s'mores bonfire never got set up, but no one else knew. It poured and I got covered in mud, dress and all! It was a shit show, but still my favorite day ever & everyone had an amazing time & never knew all that went wrong!

We had such a complex, entertaining reception (games, dances, etc) that we did not visit each table. I regret this every time we go to a wedding! We did have a receiving line after the ceremony though, at the insistence of my parents, so it's not like we didn't get to greet everyone.

We didn't get a cake knife so our reception venue provided one.. When we cut into the cake, the knife broke! No one knew but us, but we were both like :O as soon as we made the cut. Then the cake smash was epic... Wagon Sr. still complains (jokingly) about having his nose completely plugged up with cake.

We only had open bar during cocktail hour (and had the bar cut it off once we hit a certain budget, which happened just before the hour was over) yet somehow EVERYONE got wasted. It was many of our friends' first time at a wedding for a friend, so everyone still talks about how much fun they had at our wedding. Haha. Every wedding since then is so much more beautiful, classy, amazing, unique... But I guess we had the advantage of being first, when everyone was still young and immature

And biggest oops.. I didn't drink at the reception but got wasted at the after party. The one and only time in my life I ever threw up from drinking? The next morning, still in my updo and makeup, while my entire extended family was waiting for me at brunch. Hehe.

We had a two tier cheesecake as our wedding cake, which I decided to pickup the day before. I drove SOOOO careful all the way home until I forgot about the cake at the last exit ramp. The cake box slid from one side of the backseat to the other smooshing one of the sides. Luckily the florist did some quick flower additions the day of the wedding.

I didn't hear this one, but apparently our ceremony guitarist let out a rather large fart that reverberated in the metal folding chair he was on during the ceremony. Luckily I think only the bridesmaids, who were sitting closest to him, heard.

My BIL and SIL held their reception at a firehall. They had open flame candles on the tables & a guest knocked one over and set the table on fire. It took 2 seconds to put it out, but oh my gosh!

When I was reading my vows a phone went off. Like, at full volume (we had a small wedding), a rap song with lots of curse words. I sort of turned and gave a small laugh, because I didn't know what else to do (everyone else chuckled a little bit too, after watching my reaction carefully). Turns out it was my stepsister's phone. My niece had been holding it, and I figured she'd been playing on it and hit something. Her mother (my SSIL) told me that she had just been holding it and my stepsister's fiance called. Apparently she didn't think to turn it on to vibrate....

And we forgot to ask for a to-go box of food (I was only able to pick at dinner) or any cupcakes (I only had a bite of cake). I was so sad we forgot, and STARVING later that night, so we ended up going to a Taco Bell drive-thru at like 2am

My DH forgot to pack condoms!!!!!
I made him walk across the street from the hotel to a drug store when we got back at 1 am to buy some!! I was so mad!

Oh, so many little oops here but these are the major ones:

Our coordinator forgot to put out about $500 worth of flower petals that were supposed to line the loooong ceremony aisle. So they sat in the fridge - complete waste.

We forgot to do the bouquet toss!

The caterer brought the wrong desserts completely. We had asked for cheesecake, chocolate covered strawberries, and various sorbets to be served alongside the 350 cupcakes our baker had made. They brought rice Krispy treats, miniature brownies, etc. to a formal evening wedding. That one still haunts me!

Honestly, very little. The only issues were that the waiting staff didn't realise some of the older children (almost teenagers) were eating from the adult menu and gave them kids meals....and then we ordered way too much food for the evening buffet that so much went to waste. Same for our cake, hardly anyone ate it

It rained, a huge (but luckily brief) summer downpour for about 45 minutes, which delayed our ceremony. Our friends and family were amazing (they literally toweled off all the chairs for us) but the rain messed up the sound system so our pastor and our friends who were singing had no mics. Oh well! We still ended up married!

Only our DJ went wrong at our wedding. I was referred an inexpensive DJ and in retrospect I wish I had just hired a proper one. He showed up an hour late so he was rushing to set up his equipment. Then a bunch of his equipment wasn't working including one of the two mics we needed and his CD player to play our first dance song (all things I told him about far ahead of time, I was SUPER organized for my wedding). Luckily the band we had hired stepped in and was able to help so overall no one really noticed. Later when he was just playing music for dancing he was great.

Our DJ forgot to play 'Here comes the Bride'.....yeah talk about awkward. I was standing there with my dad and everyone was looking at me and we just froze. Good thing I have a nice evil eye and my dad made sure he knew we were less than pleased.
My shawl wouldn't stay on my shoulders so I gave it to my MOH to hold with my flowers.
And our Preacher (family friend) called my DH a girl. Yeah, he asked if I took him to be my wife.
It was all in all nothing major but those are our three main ones.

Some of these are making me O.O !!

We were so laid back about the wedding that it wouldn't have gone off so smoothly if it hadn't been for our coordinator and pastor (who is a family friend). The only thing I regret is letting the photographer do cutesy poses, but that's not really an oops.
