I love our B.box cup - D has a tendency to always tilt his cup, so with the weighted straw he can always get liquid. But it really bothers me that you can't clean the weighted straw. I only use it for water because I don't want milk to get old and sour in the straw. Any suggestions for cleaning the straw? Or anyone know of any other weighted straws that you CAN clean the straw?

I bought an OXO straw cleaner on amazon, but I actually have yet to use it; we just use the zoli cup for water.

@littlebug: We have a cleaning straw for the Zoli that we use on the BBox. I use it for milk everyday.

We use a Lollacup. The weighted straw comes apart into two pieces and the cup comes with a straw cleaner.

@Smurfette: I have a cleaner from our TT bottles, and I use that on the top of the straw, but do you clean the bottom part - the actual weighted part of the straw?

@littlebug: Yeah you can stick the cleaner in the weighted part. I try and soak it first in some soapy water. Then I use the brush and then rinse really good.
