Charlie, Olive, mom and dad are going on a walk this morning... swishy swashy swishy swashy. If we don't run into any bears, we may get some coffee and maybe go to the park.
What are you guys up to this fine Sunday morning?

Recovering... DH and I both had a bad stomach virus yesterday (courtesy of Willa's daycare). It was so bad I had to have my sister come pick up LO and take her overnight because we couldn't get out of bed.
I never thought I'd be so happy to be able to eat toast...

I'll be working on homework (it's finals week) and then we're going to lunch to celebrate my birthday! Maybe we'll squeeze in an episode of Game of Thrones during nap time, too.

I'm dropping baby Stroller at his Nola's house (my MIL) so she can spend some time with him before going on vacation this week. I'm going to do errands with the time alone.

@Mrs. Jacks: Poor you, so many travels lately.
@winniebee: Today is a HUGE day for you, it must feel sooo good to be free!
I'm going shopping with my mom and grandma for our upcoming trip. I'm actually not a huge fan of shopping, but hope to find some good things.

@winniebee: @Boogs: Lala bawled when I said goodbye a few minutes ago. I can't do this anymore. It's too hard! This is my last business trip until September, and I think next time I'm taking the fam.

@Mrs. Jacks: You should! That's kind of our family policy nowadays, too; if one goes, we all go.

We slept in again today (until noon) but since then Sawyer has been doing the hourly feeds ... It isn't a bad trade off to do hourly feeds in the day, since he sleeps 4 hours at a time for 2-3 intervals at night consistently at 11 days old.

@Honeybee: we'd love to do that all the time but with Tix over 500 at times, it wasn't an option

I've taught that book to pre-k kids so many times that I have it memorized even though it's been nearly 2 years since I've read it, probably one of my favorite kid's books. It a fun one to act out to! Have you ever read King Bidgood's in the Bathtub? It has some of the absolutely best done illustrations I've ever seen in kids lit.

We had our second and final birthing class at the hospital. Got some stuff for Mom's Mother's Day present and came home for a nap while watching NASCAR. Spent most of this evening with my legs elevated.
What book is this where you go on bear walks?

@mediagirl: It's a children's book... I thought it was kind of boring, but Charlie loves the onomatopoeia!

@MrBee I love that book for young ones. There are so many ways to read it and it's easy to get them involved!
