I know cutting molars are worthy of fear, but what about cutting the canines? Were they worse than the front four top and bottom or the same?

I don't know, all of his canines and all of his molars came in at the same time. It was just bad....much, much worse than the front four.

The molars were rough and all those came at once. I am scared. I think he is getting his canines soon. He has had some rough days as I think I can see some coming through. But it hasn't been every day crankiness so I'm not totally sure.

Canines came in after molars for us (but just right after) and they were hell. She was a cranky mess and was waking up 2 or 3 times a night and some nights just would not be calmed. Ibuprofen was my friend.

I don't even want to think about it. The molars are already a b*tch!

Ugh, I hope not! She is cutting two molars now and it is infinitely worse than the top and bottom four!

Wait, how did I not know that canines usually come after molars? I just assume it was in order from front middle to back. Hmm...it really looks like their is some white on Finn's top canines coming through, but I hadn't even looked to see if the molars were also coming through. Yikes.

We're doing canines right now, only one is through. They are hell. Pure torture for him and me!

My friend's 4 month old is cutting a bottom canine as his first tooth, so anything is possible! But yes, they typically come after molars, and my LO's 12 month molars were nothing compared to the evil that is canine teeth. Hers are about halfway in (coming very slowly...it's been at least a month now) and she's got her fingers in her mouth rubbing at them all the time, poor cookie.

@PinkElephant: I actually saw that canines generally come after on this chart by Orajel from this post:

Yes! They are taking forever to come in. I swear they have been poked through for 2 months now but have not actually come in yet!
