@highwire: After I subscribed the subscribe box went away and search is now back up to the top.

@highwire: cut and paste your confirmation link into a browser where you're signed into Hellobee. Let me know if that fixes things for you!

@mrbee: I'd like to be able to find posts/threads started by a particular user. Or under "posts" on a user profile to see them separated by threads started by that user / threads contributed to by that user... I think you used to have this feature on WB, but I've not noticed it here?

@evenstar982: There's a POSTS tab on your profile... it lets you filter by threads you've started versus ones where you've replied. Does that do the trick?

I actually think you've done a great job. I just did a few test searches for things, and I've been able to find what I've needed.

One thing that was a feature on WB and isn't here is the ability to search for users profiles. Generally if I want to find someone, I have to search their u/n, then find a thread they posted in, open it and then click they u/n. It's a hassle. If their profile page was to show up in the search it would make it a lot easier!!

@mrbee: I think maybe if I did a search for something, there would be a drop down on the search page that I could filter results for a certain page. So, if I searched for "stroller" I could filter between posts on the "Gear Board" and posts on the "Registries" board. I'm not sure if I am making sense.

Hmmm, interesting thing I never knew. If you are on the Blog page and do a search for "Baked Apples" you get all the blog posts for those terms. If you are on the Board page and do a search it searches all the board posts.

@Thehistoryofus: Pretty sure we have the capability to do what you are asking, but just not sure how the interface would look.
If you have any links to sites that work the way you have in mind, it'd be helpful to see it in action!

@mrbee: Hmm, hard to think of an example. I was just curious if you could replicate the drop down options you have at the top of the boards now onto the search page.
So I can search for "blanket" on the right. When I see my results, there is the same two sets of drop downs at the top of the page (category and then once selected, board). Or maybe just one long list like when you add a new post.
Or maybe something like Amazon has where you can pick the "department" and then search?

Took me a couple of tries to spell zucchini and I was hoping that the search might be smarter than me.. But it couldnt bring back the zucchini muffin recipe until I spelled it right...

I was looking for info on cradle cap, but it looks like the search is returning a lot of results for cradles. How do I restrict the results to the term "cradle cap"? I also tried it in quotes and no results came back when I did that.

Oh btw- these are the tags that come up for cradle cap and they aren't relevant at all:
CAPS, TIME CAPSULE, LANDSCAPE
I'm not sure if you want to do a substring search, particularly if the search term is 2 words and you're looking for either one.

@mrbee so.. I tried to just search for this thread and I couldn't find it, LOL, I had to find you, and then click through your posts. I can't find the "share your blog" post(s).. or are they deleted after a certain time??
