I sure was! Boredom was a constant foe... even with books to read and computers to program (I was a dork).

I feel like kids aren't nearly as bored these days... their parents are more around to play, and then there are things like iPads and computers to entertain them. Plus a million more TV shows, as opposed to reruns of cartoons one morning a week.

Is being bored an essential part of being a kid? Is the slow death of childhood boredom a bad thing? Or ha, maybe kids are still bored even with all this stimulation!
