Were you induced or do you have an induction planned?
If you DID have an induction, how far along were you (weeks and days)?

We have an induction planned for the 14th, but hopefully I'll begin to labor without it. As of today, I'm 40 weeks + 5... the supermoon did nothing for me

I wasn't because lo decided to come two and a half weeks early but my dr was considering it because of my blood pressure and swelling. He would have done it at 39 weeks.

They will induce me if I go much past 40 weeks. I hope I go on my own... before 40 weeks. I'm ready---Thursday might be nice.

@chopsuey119: oh geez. I read that as.... I don't know. Crawling into my hole now. My mom was induced, yes. Bye.

I was induced at 38 4/7 due to cord flow issues. It ended with a c-section due to fetal distress. I never had regular contractions, nor did I dilate.

I had an induction scheduled for a week after my due date, but ended up going into labor naturally on my due date.

I went into labor on my own just before my due date. I'm glad we never had to discuss induction, b/c I really didn't want to go there. My doctor likes to induce at 41 weeks.

I was induced at 40w5d due to low fluid. Baby was in my arms 9 hours later!

I was not induced, but with DS, my doctor gave me the option of an elective induction at 39.5 weeks. I was 3 cms dilated for like 2 weeks, so he thought he could just break my water and I wouldn't need any meds. I ended up going into labor on my own at 39 weeks, though, so I didn't take him up on the offer.

My water broke at 40+4 and my body never went into labor. In the NHS, they make you wait 24 hours after your waters break to give your body a chance to go into labor on it's own. I didn't, so I got Cervadil followed by Pitocin 6 hours later. LO was born 45 hours after my water broke.

I think so.... I went into labor the day my csec was scheduled. We decided to try vaginal... They did stuff to try and get my labor going... Is that induction? Turns out I just ended up getting the csec...

@blushink: Yeah, I don't know how she did it. She had a toddler running around at home and a husband who traveled during the week for work, too!!

I was induced at 40w6d. My body never showed signs of labor and I was 1cm dilated forever. He would have done it at 39 weeks(due to no progress) but I said I wanted to try and at least get to my due date to see if I went on my own.
