I didn't register for our wedding, so this registry thing is new and AWESOME! Some friends act mortified when I tell them I'm stalking my registries- but our showers are out of state and it was requested guests ship gifts, so they're all showing up at our door... either I find out then or when I check online! I'd probably still stalk even if I had a "normal" shower, although I can see how that is ruining the surprise. I just love seeing stuff disappear, it helps me know baby will have a place to sleep, clothes, etc and get excited! (Not that baby wouldn't have these things if no one bought them as a gift! It's just a fun sense of excitement/relief.)

Plus, I'm going in and marking items purchased when they're bought on another registry (ex: marked the Ergo off our BBB registry when it was purchased on our Amazon one) so we don't get a lot of overlap. I did have a lot of overlap between both registries too, but that's because I know some people are store people, and others are Amazon people, and most people would have a preference. I wanted to give them as many options as I could.
