Since I was pregnant, I've been fantasizing about having a mini veggie patch for LO. I want her to be a little carrot farmer! I have it all planned: she can grow one carrot for each member of the family and she'll have a little wooden sign next to it with her name! Of course this is just in my head, she might not even be interested in growing carrots!
What activity are you looking forward to doing with your LO?

Reading books and cooking. (We read books now, but DD usually just wants to eat them and then crawl away...)

Oh, there's so much! I'm really excited about putting her in ballet in the future. That was something my mom and I loved when I was little. But, something I'm looking forward to in the near future is taking her to the beach. We are beach bums, and I can't wait to put her little leg rolls in a ruffly swimsuit and watch her splash around!
I think a little carrot garden sounds awesome! I want to have a little strawberry patch.

I'd love for her to spend time in the kitchen with me and cook. I see little aprons for girls and I want to buy one, but she's only 7 months. And who knows, she may hate cooking!
I also look forward to doing arts and crafts with her and reading with her.

Splashing in puddles in our wellies on a rainy day, sledging in the snow, collecting acorns etc, lots of outdoorsy things! Telling her about all the amazing places in the world that she should visit when she's older. Oh and playing piano together, decorating buns and cuddling up to read books. loads of thing!!

That is so precious! I hope he plays sports and I can be a fun supportive sports mom! And we can always have team meals at our houses! If sports don't work out though there's always other stuff!

This is way down the line but I can't wait to read Harry potter with them! Plus general arts and crafts. Dh cannot wait to teach them to golf. Those little toddler clubs are so cute!

I'm excited for us to read the Harry Potter series together. Those books were huge part of my childhood. I hope he loves them as much as I have. I'm also excited for us to color together and for him to help me in the kitchen.

Ballet and swimming. Two of my favorite things growing up that I hope she will love too! I also can't wait until she's old enough to "get" Christmas. It's my absolute favorite time of year and I can't wait to share the joy of the season with her!

I'm an artist so I thought I'd be doing art projects like crazy with LO. But she's just not that into it yet. We do a few things here and there.... but she doesn't like to get her hands dirty so things like finger painting are out. She cries

Your garden idea is so precious!!!
I'm really looking forward to teaching him the alphabet and numbers, as well as printing and drawing. I really hope to facilitate a love for learning.
I also can't wait for DH to take him ice skating for the first time.
