The biggest thing I'm looking forward to - extra time with my daughter. We get Friday's off in the summer. Woooo!!

LO is finally old enough that I feel like she would enjoy the free discovery and play area at the local natural history museum. Plus it's an indoor area and it rains a lot in FL in the summer.

@Smurfette: Yeah, I'm sure Sadie will love it to. I think that's my worry! She loves everything so much. She can't ever sit still. She has to be exploring and "loving" everything, all the time. I guess the beach is never going to be relaxing again!

@photojane: Hilton Head is like 4 hours away. Destin is 6, which we prefer. Probably going to HHI so we can use points and not have to pay for a hotel/condo.
But yes lounging on the beach days are long gone. -
Taking LO to London for my sister's wedding, as my side of the family don't get to see him enough.

Just being outside!! We've had a ridiculously long winter and have been cooped up for way too long.

The beach - even if it's just by a lake - and the zoo. We've been really limited on where we could go because of my stupid broken air conditioning but it looks like hubs might have learned something at air conditioning school that might fix my problem. So yay!

Swimming! We're getting a pool pass. Getting my 5+ month pregnant belly in the pool will feel sooo good. I just hope L likes the water!

Swim classes and music classes. I really just can't wait to have time to do things with him other than run errands or play in the backyard. I want to go to the zoo, and the museum...! And also getting in some exercise for Momma.
ETA: I'm a teacher so I will have off for June and July. -
@photojane: That's why you bring other people with you (grandparents!) When we went to the beach last month, LO was all over the place and LOVED it. It was great to have grandparents to take turns with him so it could still be relaxing for short periods of time, at least

We get the most amazing twice daily sandbars...I can't wait to go play on them and walk them with dd!

Swimming, the beach, the aquarium and zoo, and pretty much watching LO explore and learn. Seeing her soft beautiful face light up at the simplest things (watching a leaf being blown by the wind!) is such a happy, happy event/place.

I'm just excited for them to be on the outside of my body this summer! We figure we can't count on being able to do anything at first, so I'll start small and say I'm just excited to go for walks around our neighborhood and down by the river front if we get adventurous!

Meeting her! And having my maternity leave to just hang with her! But I am grateful I'm having a spring baby because I think it will be fun to do walks around the neighborhood and let her start experiencing the world outside our home a bit as she starts to become more aware of her surroundings

@travellingbee: We are going to ask my parents to come with us so they can help entertain her. And so we can go out at night!
