Most mixed race kids I know don't have ethnic names.
My niece and nephew are half Hispanic and my sister gave them names that are easy to say in both English and Spanish.

@Mrs. Pen: That's been my experience too, but I'd just like to hear what those names are. Maybe put them into my own list.

@stiletto_mom: Yeah I think it's a cool name and fits the woman really well. I also know a male Orion oddly enough (both pronounced the same.)

I haven't noticed any different naming patterns with my mixed race friends. Their kids have similar names to the SSN top 100.

@oliviaoblivia: Agree. Not sure why there would be a distinction with naming.

Ditto to @oliviaoblivia. But, there are a couple of names with ethnic flare that I love, but would sound odd with our very Caucasian last name.

@oliviaoblivia: @mrscobee: @AggieDaze: @sunny: If you look at the list of names I posted there isn't much interesting that one could point to based on the parent's race. However, the little boy named Lincoln was the first IRL person I know with that as a first name. I didn't ask the parents why they chose the name, but I made up a reason in my head. President Lincoln "freed" the slaves, which eventually lead to Mr. and Mrs. Loving, in the 1960s, to win a court case stating they had a legal right to marry each other, and 50 years later my friends married each other and just occasionally get the side eye.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Agree there could definitely be a few exceptions of names that would have special meaning or ethnic flare. Although, most the time the naming trends seem similar.

Most of my friends, here and in the States are mixed couples. They name their kids the same as everyone else. It's so common in my circle of friends, that it's impossible to list them all.
Here's a few examples:
Filipino (mom), Thai-Native American (dad): Ethan, Ezra
Jewish (mom), Filipino (dad): Sophia, Gabriel
Vietnamese (mom), Filipino (dad): Isabella
Brazilian (mom) Swedish (dad): Ethan, Kaitleen

I know lots of mixed race kiddies and if you saw their names on paper you wouldn't be able to tell they were mixed race. So I could basically just throw out any names and say this is the name of a mixed race kid/person.
I have a friend whose children have Turkish names but the names look English on paper.

Both my kids have one Anglo-ish name and one Spanish name. (My son has an English first name and Spanish middle, and my daughter has the reverse.)
