I'm always looking to add to my list of "to read" books, so that when I hit up the library I'm not walking around aimlessly. So, to get some ideas, what are some of the best books you've read this year? Or you can even list best books you've ever read. You can name as little or as many as you want

The Book Thief FTW! Best book ever. Also The Messenger (sometimes in print as I am The Messenger) by the same author (Markus Zusak). Also...White Oleander (Janet Fitch), Oryx and Crake (Margaret Atwood), Six Suspects (Vikus Swarup - also Q&A by him if you havent read it).. yeah

Just read East of Eden by Steinbeck for the first time, and it was ah-mazing! I'm trying to get into classics again since its been a while.

Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami.
I'm currently rereading The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. I first read it almost 10 years ago when my French was no where close to what it is now, but I loved it then. Now I am comprehending soooo much more of the story, and it us even better. -

- Parasol Protectorate series by Gail Carriger
- Divergent & Insurgent by Veronica Roth
- Wool Omnibus by Hugh Howey
- Leviathan series by Scott Westerfeld
- Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa MeyerUm, almost all of those are YA. What can I say, the YA authors the past few years have been amazing!

I'm reading Extinction Machine and it is AWESOME. But i highly recommend starting with Patient Zero.
