I just went to my TJ Maxx this past weekend and they had the M&D felt sandwich parts, ice cream cone set, grocery basket set, and a wooden fruits and veggie set. I wanted to buy it all!! But I restrained myself. Good to know that TJ Maxx occasionally has M&D!

We have so many Melissa and Doug toys! LO's current favorite is the simple set of colorful blocks. He has been building towns, and it's so fun to see how creative he can be. He also enjoyed lots of hours of play with his wooden food.

@autumnlove: so cute!! Speaking of ice cream, I just saw a Carl's Jr. Commercial where they are selling (or giving away w/a sandwich purchase) a hand-scooped ice cream sandwich....ice cream between two pop tart pieces! Whaaaaa? I've never heard of that before!!

We have this airplane set and I think it is so cool, one of the frw toys I've gotten excited about. DS goes through phases playing with it.

The stacking train. DH drilled a hole in the front and made it a pull along toy. http://amzn.com/B0000658L5

My son loved the wooden peg puzzles and I like the play food....G's indifferent to the play kitchen at the moment, he uses it to store his trains.

I love M&D!! I like their big handle puzzles and we recently were given a bunch of M&D food and wood pot and pan. They're so sturdy!

Bumping this to see if anyone has the Melissa and Doug metal shopping cart? I'm wanting to buy it for someone as a gift. Anyone not like it?

We have two puzzles, the fruit cutting set, and a train with animals. I love the puzzles and the train. DS is still a little young for the fruit set I think. He's really rough with the pieces and some of them are chipped from being dropped or thrown.

@anonysquire: my friend returned it because it damaged her walls! She replaced it with a plastic cart!

The Stack And Sort Board is by far the most played with toy in our house. C uses it every single day, multiple times a day!
I've been eyeing the train each time I'm at TJ Maxx, and will have to get it next time I'm there!
