@mrsjazz: ED? I have a bad habit of two spaces after a period because I learned it that way in elementary school. I try to remember not to but I forget often.

@mrsjazz: @rainbowsprinkles: i hate it when my serial comma constantly gets corrected by my coworker. I don't know how to tell her that it's not wrong without sounding like an ass...

@googly-eyes: Sorry, Executive Director I was taught two spaces, too. I changed! Ha. I majored in journalism in college and 2 spaces after the period was unacceptable.
@Freckles: I don't mind sounding like an ass. I sent everyone in the office an article about the double space after a period and a meme about the serial comma with an FYI. I wear my asshole badge proudly.

@mrsjazz: where I work, we use the Chicago Manual of Style. Serial commas are a must!

@mrsjazz: Oh. My. Goodness. I love it! I thought that last comma was optional, but I suppose I'll start using it now! (while looking for funny accidental meanings!)

@Swurlygurl: Oh my, that's hilarious, just laughed out loud in my office. I am also DEFINITELY a snob about penises!

I'm a snob about fonts and paper, but I'm a stationery designer so it sort of comes with the territory.

I'm definitely a snob about the ingredients I use in my cooking, and to a lesser extent, coffee drinks. If I'm going to spend $5 on a drink -- it had better be good!

I'm a total snob about LO's clothes! And my own, I guess...not that I won't do second-hand cuz I totally will but more in that I prefer certain brands and hate putting them in cheap fabrics, haha!

@mrsjazz: bahahah I love it. And I TOTALLY agree about the comma. I was taught to use it in high school, and then told not to in college. I asked my mom and she said that someone who teaches you to use it, you can basically tell their age I guess teaching kids NOT to use it is the new normal.

@cyndistar3: YESSSSSS. DH didn't get why I had to have a specific brand until I explained how it feels wiping with one-ply.

@Mrs. Pen: haha dh is actually the one that made me this way, I never knew any better before but that's the only thing he will use now he has ruined me!

@DigAPony: I was wracking my brain to think of something, and then I read your post and have to confess that I'm a snob about grammar too!

@mrsjazz: Oh thanks! I also learned that the comma was unnecessary in those scenarios! I learned it was only to be used if the items were likely to get confused. I guess there's always someone who will make those assumptions though! I always have an inner debate with myself whether to use it.

@mrsbookworm: I was going to say that I don't really get hung up about anything, but THIS. I *have* to sit near the front of the plane. I will even take the middle seat, it's that important.
If I had to choose, I guess I'm a snob about easy spelling mistakes. People, learn the difference between "loose" and "lose". Drives me half wild.
