I was pregnant pretty much the same time frame w/ DD so I'm not buying much. I splurged on Lularoe for the first time so that's it for me!

I need sandals but I'm not sure which ones I'm buying.
I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering the very last black dress from the summer dress blog post yesterday, today. It's only $15 right now, it looks cool and breezy but plenty long enough to be bending down and playing with my kids. I'll probably be getting 3 or 4 vnecks from everlane today too. I need new jean shorts (mine are a good 3 years old and from walmart, they're running ragged) and workout/running shorts. Not sure where I'm getting those either. And I'm thinking of getting a tassel necklace to dress up my tees.

I got 2 pairs of brown sandals one from ON outlet and one from J Crew factory. A swim coverup from J Crew factory. An off the shoulder top from Old Navy. A denim dress from Hanna Andersson. Also a swimsuit from ON and a bikini top from Target that goes with bottoms I already have. Also 2 Tommy Bahama casual dresses- they were on clearance for under $20 each and I've already worn both.

I got a fedora on sale from BR in the fall for $5- love it.

I haven't bought much. I'd really like some sandals but I have such a hard time finding a pair I like that are comfortable and cute.

@Iced Tea: best feeling is to have to buy smaller clothes! that hasn't happen to me yet, haha. And I agree about shopping for yourself vs kids! DD has more than enough summer clothes and I'm just wearing all my old stuff

I am going to be super pregnant this summer, so I haven't bought much. I got a couple pairs of maternity capris so I have something to wear to work when it's 90+ out, a pair of chambray maternity shorts, and some stretchy t-shirts from Target that fit now that I think will work well for nursing post partum. I have less than 11 weeks of pregnancy left, so I'm done buying maternity clothes now. Everything will have to work pre- and post baby!

@youboots: @MoonMoon: They are so flattering on, and I love that it sort of looks like a short dress/skirt but you can pick up LO's and bend over without worrying about displaying the goods. I'm looking forward to wearing them!

And that's it. I'm going to be pregnant all summer so it's not worth buying anything that's not maternity. I'm lucky that some of my friends let me borrow their summer maternity stuff so I'm all set until postpartum.

@Mrs. Champagne: Mind sharing what tees you bought! I'm in need some for breastfeeding/pumping!

I'd like some cuter tops but everything has to be nursing friendly and easy to wash so that limits it. I would like a new pair of shorts, though finally some prepregnancy ones fit!

And I need new sneakers and want new sandals.

@yoursilverlining: I too think I might jump on the romper bandwagon this summer! I picked one out from ON yesterday but waiting for a sale. I realized that I always side-eye fashion trends initially (like skinny jeans, leggings as pants) but then jump on eventually!

This is the first summer I'll be chasing around my LO and I'm on school vaca so I am focusing on comfy stuff that I can run around in. So I just ordered some athleisure type shorts. I have to see once I get them what kind of shirts I'll wear with them and if I need to pick up a couple. Got a new pair of flip flops. I want a pair of gladiator sandals but haven't pulled the trigger yet and I probably don't really need them so we'll see. I need a pair of slip on shoes but hated the Toms I just ordered so back to the drawing board there.

I was really into capsule wardrobing this fall but I don't feel like the concept works very well for my summer life so I'm mainly focusing on not overbuying and making sure what I do buy really makes sense.

@looch: Yea I still really like the concept for my work clothes but I never had any time this Spring to work on it! I spent hours on it before the Fall at the end of my maternity leave.
It's really changed how I feel about my clothes, how I shop and also not feeling guilty about getting rid of clothes that don't work anymore (or never did...) and I think that's really the point even if I don't do a true capsule anymore.

I new pair of shorts (Riviera from Loft) and a few new t-shirts from the thrift store.

I want some new dresses and shorts but I want to lose a little weight first.

I like buying makeup right now.

My summer wardrobe is in a bad place, especially work clothes. I got to work yesterday, looked down, and realized there were two little pinpoint holes in my skirt - yikes...Summer shoes were also completely shot. So far I've bought a pair of black ballet flats to wear to work, a pair of yoga mat sandals from amazon for casual wear, and a couple of new tees. I'd like to find a new skirt for work, and really need a new pair of jeans, but I'm going to try to hold off on the latter as we're TTC and I'd rather not have any pre-pregnancy jeans to have to worry about fitting back into

I don't exactly have a capsule wardrobe, but close, and have been super-selective about what I buy. I love having a small wardrobe that I adore, but it makes shopping a pain. Beyond the above, I bought about a zillion things from nordstrom online (free shipping, free returns!) the vast majority of which went back...

@looch: We got an athleta catalogue in the mail yesterday, and en route to taking the junk mail to the trash, I glanced down and thought "wow, this catalog looks like it has super cute stuff." I may have to check it out further...

@Mrs. High Heels: Have you tried Zara? I saw quite a few cute pairs in there over the weekend.
