I need some more pairs of shoes that aren't boots but can be worn with both skirts and pants, so I am thinking either those "penny loafer" or fringed front style shoes with a heel or my standby wedges.

I recently got some new jeans and lots of new makeup..the things I'm wanting most now are some new flat brown boots, perfume, and a watch! I'm pretty sure DH is getting me the watch for our anniversary in a couple weeks, and the perfume at christmas. Now I just need to get the boots

I've been coveting gray suede ankle boots for the longest time but couldn't find exactly what I wanted - and finally found a pair yesterday (at TJ Maxx -score!)
I'm also coveting a black puffy down coat. I saw a Cole Haan one the other day and it felt like I was wearing a comforter - so nice!!

@blackbird: Kohl's had some cotton blazers (more casual than business) that were on sale for a great price! They had all sorts of colors and patterns too, I picked up a black and white striped one this weekend!

@swurlygurl: I have this problem too, but I've found if you buy a size up and get those insoles from Aldo (like $7) they will fit, especially if you wear thicker socks. This has helped me find boots to fit around my big former gymnast calves!
I just bought a pair of tan boots this weekend (LOVE) now I'm on the hunt for a navy shirt dress, gray boots, & a big tunic tops to wear with leggings.

@swurlygurl: I have the same problem! My new knee boots at Clarks by Indigo I got on Amazon.. The style is Heath Skylark and they have a stretchy calf section (but not super obvious) and a buckle adjustment. Fit me pretty good and I'm a size 7/ 15" calf I think it could fit a bigger calf, though.

@swurlygurl: How much do you want to spend? I was coveting new knee high boots too and I just got some on Friday from DSW. I saw several options I liked that came in a wide calf version, and then ones I got (plus a few others) have a little slit on the side with stretchy material in between, making them more forgiving. Most of the boots I was looking at were in the $150 range.
