I voted absentee this year. But other years I've just taken DS with!

I voted early already after DS was dropped off at daycare. Once he's into stickers I will make sure to take him with me. Even as an adult, getting the "I Voted" sticker is fun.

Bringing them. They came to vote in the primaries. I can go mid day when hopefully there won't be a line.

I voted early so I wouldn't have to wait in a long line. Otherwise I would have left work as early as possible on Election Day to vote before getting her from daycare. We take her along to vote when it's a smaller election and the lines won't be long, but avoid it when we know we'll have to wait!

I always always take her. She has no idea what we are doing yet but she does love her sticker.

DH and I took turns and stayed home while the other voted. I don't think our boys would have had patience for the hour long line.

I'll drop them off at daycare and then stop before work. DH already stopped at town hall and got his early ballot and voted. I want to do it on the actual Election Day though. Lines aren't usually an issue.

DH and I took the kids this year. We voted early so the lines would be short. I took both kids all by myself for the primary (one on my back, one in an umbrella stroller), but there wasn't any wait at all that day. Usually I have an hour or more to wait for voting on Election Day, so I couldn't fathom doing that with both kids!

I always take them! I hope I set a good foundation and they always, always vote when they are old enough to. My parents always voted, and I've never missed an election in my adult life.

I'm picking M up at school and taking them. If the line's too long, which I don't anticipate, we'll go home and I'll go by myself later.

If I could vote mid-day, I'd take the kids with me. But I WOH full time and won't be able to vote until after work. I'm anticipating long lines, so no way I'm bringing the kids. I'm bringing my kindle and a snack. Hubs will have the kids.

My husband will be home that morning so I'll leave my toddler at home but I'm going to bring my 4 year old daughter with me. I want to be able to tell her some day that she was there

Normally I take them. This year we have early voting so I took the baby while the older kids were in school.

I always take her. We go in the morning on the way to daycare and I've never had to wait too long. This is the first presidential election in her lifetime though. Hopefully it won't be packed. Otherwise, I'll drop her off at daycare and go back.

We went together and early voted as a family. The wait was about 40 min and all was well until she bumped her lip on the table where the stickers where and started wailing in the super quiet voting area. Ugh. We were just about to go to the booth to vote. So close to getting out without incident. So close.

I voted early this year before picking her up from daycare, but I have taken her in the past. I only have 1 though

I voted a couple days ago while they were napping at my mom's.

I always take LO with me and we always vote on election day.

I early voted this year, so I left my kids home with my husband. It was much easier to get in and out without having them with me.

I vote absentee (in my state, you don't need a reason. I get mailed a ballot every election.)

Day care as usual. I'm hoping voting will go smoothly as usual, but if it doesn't I'm going to raise hell, and I don't want the kids around for that.

Absentee ballots here.
If I were home I'd take them. We take them when DH votes.

I was hoping to do as I have in the past, vote on my way home/before picking her up at daycare. However, I am slightly concerned that the line will be over an hour and then I'll have to leave to get her before daycare closes and i'll have to go back to vote!

Our polling place is just around the corner so up load the kids up in the double stroller and go mid-morning.

I'll probably go before work and have DH take them to daycare, then he can go after work and I'll pick them up.

I voted early during my lunch one day. DH also voted early on a Saturday afternoon and took our older kiddo with him.

I took 10 month old DS with me, during a Wednesday morning, so no real line.

We are in a vote by mail state. Otherwise I'd probably wear LO on my back & have my choices written out ahead of time to speed things up.

We voted early and all went together. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. DD was just thrilled to get some stickers!

In 2012, I took DD1 with me -- she was home sick from daycare with chickenpox!
This year, I was planning to take both kids with me on Election Day, since their school is closed due to being a polling location (it's in the basement of a church). But I found out early voting here is super-easy and accessible, so I did that this week instead! Hardly a line at all, and now we can do something a little more fun with their day off.
