What's on your fall shopping wish list? I need some new fall pieces but don't know where to start!

I need a pair of brown boots (still looking ... have been looking for 2 years!!!) and some nice work shirts.

I need some basic sweaters to pair with skirts and pants. I tend to wear them out every couple of years, pilling, etc. and it's time to get some new ones.

Shirt dresses, some comfy open cardigans, a couple of pretty and soft work blouses.

Decent jeans. I keep putting off buying good jeans since I had DS 3 years ago and are no longer a size 4. I have so many nice jeans, but I just don't know if I'll be that small again. Every fall I just tell myself to suck it up and buy a couple great-fitting pairs, but then I hit up $30 American Eagle jeans again (which suck). Maybe this fall.

I was pregnant last fall so I really need to look into my closet to see what I have, what fits, etc! I'm def looking for a new pair of tall boots (black or brown, or both... heh)

@BananaPancakes: I definitely need jeans! I last bought jeans 18 months ago. They still fit, but I'm tired of them. But I have no idea where to start as far as style and fit. I really dislike jean shopping since there are so many choices!
@rachiecakes: @Mamaof2: would love some new sweaters but I always seem to gravitate towards the same styles. I can never quite break my tried and true habits.

I'm due in December so I'm not planning to buy too many clothes- hopefully I can get by with the few sweaters I have and maternity tanks and t shirts with open cardigans. But I've been wanting new casual, comfortable boots for a couple of years. Something I can wear with skinny jeans or leggings, easy to slip on, and I can walk a few miles in without hurting my feet or back. But preferably less than Frye pricing. So far no luck!

I need a new pair of boots and some jeans. I'm also going to need some nursing friendly clothes. I'm waiting to see what size I'll be after I deliver to start shopping. I've got plenty of time. It won't feel like fall here until November.

Something besides leggings and Nike zip ups. Last fall I was pregnant. Maybe some new jeans. I love Hunter boots- I have 3 pairs.

I'm looking for tall grey suede slouchy boots, either flat or with a low heel. I got rid of a beloved pair at the end of last winter because the heel broke and they weren't in nice enough condition to repair it, but I'm already missing them! I looked at three aisles of boots at DSW this weekend and nothing popped out.
I also need a killer new pair of jeans since the last 4 winters I have either been pregnant or breaatfeeding (wearing kiddie jeggings bc I lose weight while nursing)....all my old designer jeans are boot it, and I prefer skinny.

All you ladies looking for boots, can I recommend taking a look at Roots (I'm not sure if it's Canada only, but I know they'll ship to the US)? Really comfy, beautiful leather, and they last really well. I can personally recommend the roll-over, the Italian wedge bootie, and the Western Riding boots (I have a problem).
And @Looch, I basically want to copy your shopping list exactly, everything on there sounds dreamy!

I need new pregnancy shoes. My calves get wider during pregnancy so none of my boots fit and bending over at 30+ weeks is difficult.
So I need slipons that have enough traction for ice and keep my feet warn enough for Canadian winters.
Pretty much relegating myself to Clark's and Taos type companies.
I wish style could be a priority. Alas. -
After losing weight this year, 7 to go, I need everything new. New jeans, sweaters, new work clothes (pants, shirts, skirts, and dresses), and cardigans (work and home).

If I only have TIME to clean out my current closet so I can do a capsule wardrobe too! And this whole "I have no idea when I'm nursing/pumping till" is making buying new clothes annoying!

Thanks ladies! The only thing I know for sure are the jeans, but even that is subject to change, depending on what I find for the other items, particularly the cardigans.
I think I am going to hit Nordstrom this year, and see what I can find, because I've been striking out online.

I just ordered a bunch of boots and fallish flats from zappos.com. Hopefully some of them will work. Only other thing I'm on the hunt for this fall is a new blazer.

Dh bought me some leather ankle boots for my birthday that I'd been wanting for fall!
I also want a pair of dark wash high rise skinnies from banana republic, but I'm waiting for them to go on sale.

Some sweaters, new dark jeans, and long sleeve tops. I haven't bought any cute fall stuff in a long time!!
Oh and I ordered boots a few weeks ago. Maybe I'll order another pair in black.

@Mamaof2: they are soooo cute on! They have the perfect amount of stretch, but don't feel that they'll stretch out. They are very slimming. I own a pair of BR skinnies from a few years back and they're just such great quality, and I consistently get compliments on the fit. I am just waiting for one of their 30-40% off coupon codes!

So now I really want a pair of cute trainers to wear casually (not workout sneakers), and these. But they are new and I can't find any reviews- I need comfortable! Anyone ever worn Splendid shoes?
