We have a 2.5 year old so I'm going to get a few small things for the soon-to-be newborn for Christmas -- just so he has a few things from "Santa". A blanket, teething ring, small stuffed animal and outfit. Nothing exciting. Are you doing anything?

DD isn't really a newborn anymore, she's 3 months, but she's still not very excited about Christmas obviously haha. I bought her a wooden bell chimes mobile as her first Christmas gift. Basically it's a bunch of wooden "bells" that attaches to the ceiling and then has a string with a loop LO can grab on to to "ring" them. She loves things that make sounds and is just starting to grasp, so I think it's perfect!

L is almost 2, and K will be 4 months. There is literally nothing she needs and I am having the hardest time with this! I ended up buying her some rubber stacking blocks, some texture balls, and a tea set and a picnic set (the LeapFrog ones) since Santa is bringing her and L a kitchen for Christmas. Way above her level, but she has to have something (and I know L will love them too... haha).

We still haven't gotten anything for our son. He will be 9.5 months old. Do we have to get him something? He won't know the difference. He has so much stuff already.
He doesn't have any siblings, unless you count our totally awesome cats!

I got one gift for the new baby - the pottery barn anywhere chair with his name, so I can use it to take monthly photos I might fill his stocking with teethers, pacis, bibs, etc but only if we need that stuff (which we probably don't)

D will be 3 months and I'm getting him a Merlin Magic Sleepsuit (hoping it helps break him from the swaddle!), a Haba Rattling Caterpillar, hand/feet wrattles, and some Wee Gallery art cards.

I wasn't going to her anything, but after reading that you all are getting your newborn something, I feel bad!

@pumpkin pie maybe an heirloom item like a rattle or silver photo frame. I registered for some items on Amazon from Nambe and those were the first items purchased.

We got her a new play mat to encourage tummy time & two toys. Amazon was having a bogo free sale on Fischer price on Black Friday!
