It's 3 am here in Brooklyn... Olive was fussing so I woke up and now it will take me some time to get back to bed.
What are you guys doing up so late... is it not so late in your timezone? Have insomnia? Is your LO keeping you up?

i read your question and giggled because i know you're in new york, so it's super late over there. it's still earlyish over here in sf.
i'm usually up until 2am or so every night waiting for the hubs to get home.

It's only 9:15 here. But DH is sleeping already so yah, 'late' is in the eyes of the beholder in our time zone.

@softcream: 12:17 am is pretty late too though?
Wow, your husband comes home pretty late! You are amazing to stay up that late...

@mrbee: It's 12:19am right now and I just finished pumping. Heading to bed soon but wanted to catch up on some posts. It's amazing that you're able to stay up so late. Even when my DD fusses at 3am, I can nurse her and fall back asleep instantly. That's how tired I am!

@banana: I went to bed pretty early and woke up about two hours ago. I ended up stroller walking Olive for an hour or so outside, so that woke me right up. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to get back to sleep... will be lying down in about 15 minutes or so. Just a bit wired at the moment though!

@mrbee: Oh man! Stroller walking at 3am doesn't sound fun. Is that the only thing that works for Olive?

@mrbee @808love it's easy to stay up when i get to sleep in too. we usually wake up at 9:30 and go to bed around 2a or 3a.
it totally throws off my schedule. i eat lunch and dinner on the late side. i like to think of it as living on hawaii time =)

@banana: I wouldn't exactly say that it worked ha - Olive didn't fall asleep. Olive's sleep is kind of whacky lately, so Mrs. Bee has been suffering.
Strollering wasn't a big deal though. I just read my phone as I pushed her around the block. The air was a little brisk, so it was actually kind of nice.

@mrbee: I was actually thinking that i might actually enjoy it afterall. I love going on walks at night. Not sure how I feel about 3am walks but once in a while, it might be kinda nice.

@softcream: Yes! It is perfect!
@MrBee: What a great dad you are to Olive! Mrs.Bee is probably dreaming about the very same thing.

It's only 9:30 here. I'm catching up on hellobee/pinterest and enjoying an NCIS marathon.

@banana: Oh for a long time, Charlie would need an occasional stroller walk to fall asleep. Thanks to Steve Jobs and his technicolor iPhones, those walks were never a big deal...
@808love: Oh no, this was just one stroller walk. Bee does all of Olive's night-time wakeups... my focus these days is on Charlie. Which is why I'd better get back to sleep... good night!

@Sweet T: I haven't caught up with Hellobee in forever so it's good. Usually, I'm just browsing from the Ipad.
@banana: Ok, hop on the next flight-- I'll pick you up with an extra carseat and stroller. It'll be about 3AM when you get here and we can go stroller walking.

@Sweet T: Oh you too?!
@banana: Ok playtime for Mamas, then.
@zippylef: So you're well rested! I'm fast forwarding to 8:45AM tomorrow. I better get some sleep if I want to be lol'ing like you in the morning.

@lydg: Poor thing! I hate when that happens. Just when you think they're dead asleep, their eyes pop wide open. ARG!!! How old is your LO?

1:07 am. DD is not asleep yet. She seems to be getting a cold and I have not been able to get her to fall asleep consistently. She cries about every ten minutes. I hate when babies get congested. It's just awful. Looks like no sleep for this momma tonight.

@oceanis723: I hate when babies get congested too! I usually just nose frida the heck out of his nose and use a humidifier. Hope you get some sleep soon!!

4:30am here, just finished feeding. At what point in time does "late" become "early"??
coconut / 8299 posts
@purkle: LOL! I'd say 4am is my cutoff. At 4:01am, it's officially "early" for me.

@banana 3 weeks!! I am so tired! Up for 3rd time since he got me up at 220. I'm like-GO TO SLEEP!!

@lydg: I feel your pain!!. My daughter is 7 weeks old and she's now sleeping through the night. But the first 4 weeks were brutal! Like WHY WON"T YOU SLEEP?? And there were a few nights where my daughter AND my 2 1/2 year old son would wake up. I was like "omg, kill me now". But it'll get better once he learns to self-soothe. Will he take a pacifier? I give my DD a pacifier only for sleep and it's hit and miss. Sometimes if she starts fussing, I can pop in the pacifier and after a few seconds of sucking, she'll fall back asleep again (hallelujah!).

@Honeybee: Another west coaster.
I thought I was going to sleep early tonight, but apparently it was a nap that woke me up at midnight. Now Hubs is happily asleep. At least I'm off tomorrow.

5:40 am my time! I'm up because my husbands alarm went off while ago. Can't fall back to sleep. My hips feel broken. Thought this baby would have been here by now, due tomorrow!! Ughh
