I love this time of year for so many reasons including getting together with friends and coworkers.

And I am planning on taking a prosciutto/salami/cheese/cracker appetizer to the work potluck on Thursday?

Asian Slaw Salad. I made it the first time for a summer potluck at work. Now they want me to make it for every potluck.
I am bringing CFA nuggets to an afternoon get together this weekend. It will run into dinner time so this way the kids are set. And eat something besides the cookies they are decorating.

For work, I am bringing crackers, cream cheese, and sweet spicy chili jam. It looked really good!

@Bao: I am the same way. I am putting less effort into the work potluck. It's bad but I bought the salami for my FIL at Thanksgiving and since he didn't eat it, I decided to take it with cheese to the work potluck.

DH's side is doing a soup lunch so I'm taking bagel dip. I'm in charge of green bean casserole for 2 other Christmases, and I always take shrimp cocktail to my mom's house on Christmas Eve.

@babypugs: Thanks, i totally signed up for crockpot mac and cheese for DH and I's work functions! The cost of one hot food is cheaper than what i *was* going to bring I have some jalapeno powder, so I think i'm going to jazz it up a bit for the adults
