My family plan is to have one baby and see if I want to have more. Of course I could end up with twins and that would be ok too.
Dh would like 4 kids! He wants a house full. He grew up in a house with 4 kids so that is what he is used to.

We have one biological child, and we would like to adopt two more (older children) in about 8-10 years!

We have 1 right now and are talking MAYBE one more when she's 7-ish. Either that, or we're done.

I'm planning on 3 total. pregnant with #2 right now. Dh seems on board with my plan

We are planning on one. One and done! Starting TTC in late Jan/early Feb!!

Our plan was to (probably) have 2 somewhat close together and then be done. But while our daughter is more awesome than I could have imagined, this parent thing has really kicked our asses. I'm pretty sure my husband has PTSD from her newborn days and while I'm "over it" I'm also not sure I want to do it again. For now we are content to just be a family of 3. We're not taking any permanent measures right now though and will reevaluate in a few years when I'm 33 probably (because if we're going to have a second I'd like to be done before 35).

We originally wanted 3-4, but pregnancy kicked my butt. I want to do it again, just not sure when. I'm also terrified of TTC again. If she were to be our only, I would find peace with that, if I had to.
Right now, we're hoping to have another when she is 3, and have #2 and #3 pretty close together.

I'm pregnant with #1 right now, and we are planning 2 or 4. Haven't decided which one though. Not 3 per DH. He doesn't want a middle child! Lol

I've always been in the "I'll have one and see how I feel" camp. I could see us having another one at some point, but definitely not for some time yet. We agreed to talk about it when our LO turns 2 in another year.

We want four. We have two right now and are.not sure when we want to add to our family. Were.thinking in about 1-2 years for a third. We also want to foster but that will be probably down the road a little bit.

Pregnant with 3 and discussing permanent birth control.

Undecided still! DD is 18 months old and I feel like my family is in a really good spot right now, so not wanting to add another baby to the mix. Not sure how I will feel in a few months/years though! DH & I both agree another daughter would be awesome, but obviously that isn't guaranteed SO right now = one & done. Who knows if that will change.

My original plan was 4, and now that I have two kids, I still want 4! Haha. I'd actually be ok with having 5, but DH wouldn't agree to that in a million years. He'd prefer 2 or 3.

current plan, and definitely no plans to change the current plan, ever, is one and done! I wanted three when I was younger, then two. then I actually had one, and now I'm good with one.

Pregnant with # 2 right now, then done. Both DH and I only want 2, so 2 and through for us.
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@MrsBrewer: I was one of four and still felt like the middle child because I wasn't the first child, the first girl or the baby. Definitely have middle child syndrome over here.

I would like three and DH wants two but #1 is still cooking, so we will see.

We've always said 3-5. We have 2 now and don't feel done, but five sounds like a lot to me now. I can't imagine reliving each stage that many times. I'm guessing we'll try for a third and be happy if a fourth came along.

I am done after this one. If we had a surprise 3rd (because I'll probably mirena, but nothing permanent after this one for DH or me) then I wouldn't be upset. But I'm certainly not planning for a third. Way too old for that.
@autumnlove: Congratulations!!

We are planning on 3.
I currently have 2 and we won't TTC again for another year.

When we were TTC the plan was always to be one and done. We never even considered more than one child. Our plans have now changed and we are childfree with fur babies

@autumnlove: whaaaaaat?!? Congratulations!! That is so exciting!
I have two and would like a third in a few years. Maaaaaaybe four but that's a huge maybe because I have a bad Diastasis and I'm nervous about it getting a lot worse.

@autumnlove: oh wow, congratulations!!! You need your minivan soon.

Though we strongly considered being one and done, we want to have a second and then decide if we are done or want a third. No more than 3 though.
As far as timing, it depends on work. At the earliest, we'd start TTC in the Spring/Summer.

The plan is to have two children, 2-2.5 years apart. I would like a third but DH isn't on board.
grapefruit / 4213 posts
Have one, one on the way, and DH and I think we want a third at some point although I am looking forward to a break from my back to back pregnancies.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
I want three. Two boys and then a girl if anyone is taking orders DH only wants two and he'd strongly prefer two boys. We have one now and I really want a girl next if we are only having two.
