@locavore_mama: haha I know! I'd say 90% of the cash back amounts were/are under $3. I bought all my college textbooks for undergrad and masters off half or eBay and got a ton of cash back that way.

Clearly just joined. I have to start REMEMBERING to use it, I'm a huge online shopper. PS... what do you do if you have a tracking ticket that is jsut not clearing?!? So annoyed by that one, it was like 3% of $140.

I got my first check this summer for $5.75 - haha. I've since installed the Chrome extension that lets you know when you're on a website that uses eBates and so far it's working great! It's reminded me to use it multiple times when I would have forgotten!

@pui: I think Great Canadian Rebates might be more popular in Canada.
I have been an ebates member since 2003 and gotten around $400 back. I compare which portal pays out more and go with that one. Sometimes it's ebates and sometimes I use Chase Ultimate Rewards or Fatwallet.

@bluestriped bee: I think they might have stopped offering Amazon GCs as an cash back option. I know I've gotten them before but now I only have the choice between a check, Paypal or a charity of my choosing.

@cmomma17: I've had the best luck linking to it in some of the Facebook groups I'm on, if someone is talking about an online purchase I'll say "don't forget about ebates! (referral link). I can think of probably 10 people I mentioned it to in person, or online, and didn't specifically say that I had a referral link if they wanted it, so I missed out on those bonuses, booo.
@sunny: you're better than I am! I did that for a while, when the other ones had sign up bonuses, but it felt too scattered to me. I think there is a website or app that compares cashback amounts too, if you don't' use it?
@lovehoneybee: @bluestriped bee: I've had the Amazon option in the past, they usually email it as an offer if it's an option... not sure if it is random or what!
@cmomma17: @kjpugs: One big thing that will hold up the cash back is if you have a different email with ebates than you placed the order. They will always credit you the cash back if you ask/remind them, but they make you wait 30 days. I set a monthly reminder, and go through to compare my tracking tickets with my cash back. If I'm missing one, I submit it then

Under Tell a Friend it says, payment pending but it's not in my cash pending box on the home page.
