Our daughter loves Pinkalicious and Fancy Nancy, but I don't really enjoy reading those books. Bee got a bunch of books by Amy Krouse Rosenthal though, and I love all the dorky puns in there! Plus the Book with No Pictures is a ton of fun to read out loud.

@mrbee: have you read the ladybug girl series? Those are a little more fun to read (for me at least) than the two you mentioned but still on the same level. I love the topics covered & how real they feel

For my 2.5 yr old I currently really like Llama Llama and Ladybug Girl books. Also The Gruffalo's Child, but she's not as big of a fan of that..

We read Tumford the Terrible tonight. M's really into kitties right now so she likes the cat. I liked how it rhymed. I love books that have a good rhythm.
