Last year we watched 4 Christmases. My all time fave is Love Actually. I also enjoyed The Family Stone.

Love Actually is my favorite and the only one I watch every year without fail. I do like the Polar Express a lot so I hope LO will like it, too. And I love Home Alone. I have never seen Elf (Will Ferrell annoys me).

I love love love love The Santa Clause with Tim Allen. He is the best Santa in the history of Santas. I also love Home Alone. I used to love A Christmas Story but I could take it or leave it now.

Not favorites, at all, but I'm a fan of the Hallmark made for TV Christmas movies...they're the movie of the cheesy, feel-good romance books that I like to read in the tub

@lawbee11: E discovered The Polar Express about a week ago. I think we've watched it 6 times already (there is one part, with the hanging puppet things, that scares him...and me, too, a little!)

It's a Wonderful Life is my favourite Classic. I always cry a little when Clarence the Angel gets his wings! Love, Actually is the favourite recent movie. I've always hated A Christmas Story, but somehow end up watching it with family most years.

@Littlebit7: Yes Die Hard! DH and I argue about whether this counts as a Christmas movie every year.
Plus White Christmas and Home Alone. And this isn't really a Christmas movie but I always watch You've Got Mail.

@littlebit7: YES!!! Dh and I do a craft beer, cheese and meat plate on Christmas Eve while we watch it. We've been doing it since before we married. (9 years!)

I love Love Actually and Elf the most, and the animated Grinch. And Charlie Brown, the Muppets, and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
@youboots: I love the Family Stone! Which is a bit weird because I hate so many of the characters, but this movie has shaped my dream Christmas - first of all, I want their house, and secondly I want the big family Christmas dinner with the kids and partners and kids around the table.
