my 3 year old still HATES toys that move on their own. I really don't think she'd enjoy a power wheels type toy either.
and, we found out the hard way in Disney, that she does not like anything dark! ha. weird, because she sleeps in a dark room just fine.
my infant seems pretty flexible so far at 10 months.

Animals. She will watch Paw Patrol all day, if we let her, and likes dogs when they aren't near her. But one gets close and she flips out. She is better now about cats, but still isn't really comfortable.

Bathroom hand dryers and he is still wary of garbage trucks. Screaming, rolling on the floor, complete melt downs.
Last year anamatronic dinosaurs were pretty scary, it made La Brea Tar Pits an interesting experience

Last night lo1 woke up screaming because one of his friends has 2 Thomas trains. So I guess duplicate toys. Otherwise he is mostly just shy/nervous around adult strangers. ETA also bugs. He is petrified and thinks they will eat him.
LO2 is afraid of me not holding him 24/7.

Loud noises. She startles easily (as in DH coming down the stairs can freak her out). She doesn't like the vacuum, but is getting better, doesn't like the hand dryers in public washrooms, and doesn't like my hair dryer. Other than that, she's not scared of much!

Most things? Doesn't like non-familiar people or situations. She even gets freaked out by a non-familiar floor surface and won't walk. Bugs, loud noises, bathrooms, dirt or mess of any kind.

Crowds of strangers, the little hand-held vacuum we have, and loud noises. Shes 18 months and an introvert (she comes by it honestly!).

Animals. He is fascinated by dogs but wants them to stay far away from him and his things.

LO1 is scared of animated films, the dark, loud noises (hand dryers, hair dryers, the food processor) and certain books with dragons.
LO2 is scared of loud noises.
