With a one month old and toddler we will be staying in. Probably take out Chinese or Thai. I would like to make it fun for the little guy though. That's if I can muster up the energy to do something creative with a two year old at home.

DH and I are going out for a big prix fixe dinner (minus the wine pairings
) to take advantage of our last childfree NYE.

steak and fries or potatoes, salad, chocolate fondue and either a movie or the world junior hockey game. 3yo is going to bed, and we probably won't stay up either!

DH has to work and has a trip to Florida and I'm going with him! I'm so excited! My parents are going to keep LO. We plan to go out NYE night and then spend the next day poolside.

We are going to dinner with a couple friends of ours and heading back to their house to play games. MIL is watching the kids. We will stay at their house that night so we don't have to transfer the kids after they are asleep.

DH works so me and DD will be having a normal night!

We will be staying in. No babysitter to go out and do anything fun. We will probably fix a bunch of appetizer snacks for dinner and have some wine or champagne!

LO is out of town with her grandparents and we both have a day off together, which is so extremely rare. We are spending the day at a Korean spa and then going to two parties in the evening. I am SUPER excited

My niece and nephew will be coming in that late afternoon. Scrambling to put something fun together for all the kids! Hoping the dollar store won't be cleaned out of New Year accessories and trying to decide on a dinner menu.

Months ago, my inlaws promised us a night off on NYE but they haven't mentioned it recently and, as I'm pregnant, I'm assuming they think we don't want it now. So I don't know.

Going out for two nights/days away without LO. We're going to a nearby quaint romantic small town and having dinner out and then probably celebrate at the hotel.

Hubs has to work. I thought about taking my son over to my sister's to play with his cousin, but I'm tired and feel like I'm getting sick, so we'll probably just hang at home and do our normal thing.

DH is going to a bowl game with his dad out of town. My mom is watching LO. I'm going out with my girlfriends!

4 course dinner, live music and dancing to benefit Full Plates Full Potential (local hunger relief organization)

Going to a friends lake house. Having surf and turf(lobster Mac n cheese) for dinner. Once the kids are in bed, hitting the hot tub!

Our neighbors and their 8 month old are coming over for a dinner/ hangout. Should be mellow. I highly doubt that DH and I will even attempt to stay up until midnight.

I think Dh and I are going to go downhill skiing for the day - my parents offered to keep the girls. We will drive home afterwards and probably have a fondue.

Having 10ish friends over for Mexican take out and drinking/tequila night (for them.... I'll be sitting on the couch at 38 weeks preggy)

Cheese plate via Aldi and opening a bottle of wine we got for Christmas.

Going to a friends for drinks early. They don't have kids so we shall see what my 10 month old does to their place.....

Early celebration for all friends with kids starting at 6pm. We'll probably leave by 9pm and toast at midnight. Then bed

Having hibachi dinner with 3 other couples. Should be home by 10 to relieve my MIL and will then probably watch our traditional New Year's movie - 200 Cigarettes.

I'm going to keep my 5 year old running tradition of going to bed at a reasonable hour and sleeping through it.
