I'm always curious about what hours everyone else works.
I work 7:30-4 M-F. I leave the house at 6:40 and get home at 5 (that's with a daycare drop-off and pick-up).

I work 6-3. I commute twice a week and I leave at 4:45. I usually pick up LO by 5!

M-F, 8-5.. though, I'm the first here and last to leave, so actually more like 7:50am-5:30pm, haha
I live really close to work so I get lunch hour with DS, which is a plus

Usually 6:30-3:00, but i have flex time, so sometimes i come in at 8:00 and leave at 4:30, or work a few 9's and take off early on Friday.

I work 7-4 with a 1.5hr commute each way. I don't get to see E before I leave for work, DH gets him up and drops him off. I pick him up and get home around 6... makes for some long days

I work shift work, 2 Days (7:30am-7:30pm) then 2 Nights (7:30pm-7:30am) then 5 days off. I walk to work, so only a 10-minute commute.

Currently 9-6 with a one-hour lunch. Hoping to switch to 8-5 when LO is here because of his daycare hours. I have a 30-minute commute.

M-F 8-5, with an hour lunch (wish I could just work through lunch. I eat at my desk, anyways...) My commute is 45 minutes each way. So I'm usually gone from the house from 7am-6pm, which stinks!!

M-F 7:30-4:30 Not sure what it is going to be once baby gets here hoping 8-4:30

8 - 6 Monday - Friday with about 1hr commute each way. No lunch break either, boo
grapefruit / 4235 posts
I generally work 8:30-5 or 9-5:30. Some days are longer though since I'm in PR. I have an event at the end of the month where i'll put in 60 hours for the week, easy. My first week at this job I worked 55 hours and wondered what the **** i got myself into. I'm hoping after the baby comes I can shoot for an 8-4:30 schedule, and work from home on Mondays.
But other times we'll have really light schedules and can come and go as we please. I don't have to pay back time for DR appts and rarely schedule a half day - i usually just leave. B/C the hours are so variable, we are pretty flexible.

Mine is usually 9am-8pm, plus non-stop blackberry, work on weekends and lots of travel. Really curious how that's going to work once LO is here.

Generally about 7:30-4pm. My work is pretty flexible, so I'm hoping to switch to 7-3 (no lunch) when I have a LO, where DH can drop off LO at day care in morning (he works 8-5) and I can pick up.

M,T,F - whenever i want pretty much. i work from home so whenever i drag my butt out of bed. but i prefer 6-1(or however long it takes if DS isn't cooperating)
W,TH - 7-3(or 6-3 if i'm up early with DS, then i can work less on friday) it's about a 20-30 minute commute depending on traffic.

8-4ish. If it's slow, I'll take a long lunch or sign off earlier. If it's busy, I'll start earlier or stay late.

8:30 to 5. I get to leave once I hit 40 hours, though, so I usually get to work earlier and take a 30 min. lunch break so I can have half-days on Fridays.
cantaloupe / 6669 posts
It varies. I basically work as much as needed to keep my head above water. Most days, I'm at the office 8:45am - 6pm. I'll usually do 30 min. or so of work from home before I head in. Also, 3 or 4 nights a week I will work 2+ hours once I get home. I'll usually do a few hours of work on the weekend, too. Yes - that is a 55+ hour work week on average. *weeps*

@QBbride: i'm a shift worker! but not the same way you are. i think if i had to work full-time hours i'd prefer a schedule like yours.
i work two days a week, usually tuesday, wednesday, and/or friday, from 9:30am to whenever i finish. i'm a hospital newborn photographer, so i leave the hospital when i'm done with the day's babies.

9:30 - 6 but I'll be changing it to 8:30 - 5 once I start work in a few weeks.

We bid on new schedules every 12 weeks, and I always pick the same one. M-Thurs from 8-6:30. 3 day weekends!

9:15 - 5:30, then 8:00 - 11:00pm. Although lately I take at least an hour in the middle of the day to cook lunch and dinner Olive and the family, and maybe another hour to grocery shop/run errands.

Usually around 8:15-4:15ish. We don't have set hours as long as we are there for 8 hours a day. I work through lunch so I can go get LO sooner.

I don't have set hours but usually I'm there by 7 or 7:30 and leave by 4 or 4:30.

Contractually, I have to be at school 730-330, but anyone in teaching knows you don't leave at 330! I usually leave around 430/5, but then I am grading/planning at home too.

I am very lucky to work part time from home, so my hours are pretty varied, depending on conference calls, and, well, my sleep schedule
pomegranate / 3160 posts
They say 8:00-5:00 (though there's quite a few people who take that to mean 9 or 10 until 3ish)...I typically get in around 7:15ish and try to be out by 4:00 (I don't take an hour lunch by ANY means, so I'm usually over 8 hours...).
