I feel like our white tile kitchen floor is impossible to keep clean...ahhh! I'm going to choose a darker color when we renovate!

The kitchen floor here too!
Its a weird pattern which I think always looks dirty anyway!
I sweep and mop and then in comes the dog , kids, and DH and its a mess. Impossible to keep clean!

Our living room, LO uses it as her personal playroom even though we have her room set up. She drags more toys out into it and then sets up a blanket that covers the floor as her "area." I can't tell you how many times I step on a hidden toy, it doesn't take much to clean up but my nesting mind hates it.

Our bedroom. My clothes are everywhere. I'm so bad about it.

Definitely our kitchen. DH has recently picked up the duty of cooking (which I'm so thankful for), but he's not the most efficient or clean chef so our countertops get flooded easily and all sorts of stuff end up on the floor. Add in DS enjoying tossing food off his highchair whenever he feelsl like and yea....

Our bedroom. No sooner than I have picked up all DH's laundry from the floor, another pile appears.... along with a bunch of scrunched up receipts on the dressing table, a lollypop stick and a half drunk can of Coke. Oh and a load of wires..... God help me, the wires!!!!!

All of it! Kidding!!
Lo's room and my older son's room. I've got mine somewhat under control ( it isn't blog worthy ), and I'm constantly picking up the living and family room ( both are toy zones ), the kitchen stays picked up for the most part.

Our bathroom. I try to enjoy the 15 minutes every week or so that it actually looks clean.

Currently, it's the kitchen table that ends up covered in stuff that has no place yet. In the new house I want a big piece of furniture with drawers and cupboards in the front hall to put such stuff lol.

The entryway. It's tiny and looks constantly cluttered. It makes me crazy.

All of it. We make a conscious effort to keep the living room somewhat picked up though.

The kitchen! We spend most of our time in here and the minute I vacuum and mop it's dirty again!

The kitchen is the worst. We come through the garage door into the kitchen coming and going, so that's where all the clutter hits. Plus food and dishes. Yuck.
But it seems like my whole house is always dirty no mattr how much I clean!!

Um all of it. By the time I've picked something up, LO takes it out again/makes a different mess. Bathrooms are rough too, esp because DH won't clean them.

Right now all of it because of morning sickness and DH working long hours. Usually it's my office. I just let things pile up in there.

The toddler, the baby and I rotate between the family room, nursery, and my bedroom during the day. So those three rooms are an absolute mess at the end of the day. Everywhere else stays reasonably clean (a cleaning lady comes biweekly) and I pick those rooms up when DH gets home.
If I don't keep the house clean while we're cooped up inside this winter, I'll start to feel like this...
ETA: sorry for the terrifying picture

Floors in general! I have light tiles for kitchen and dark hard wood through-out and everything shows!! But I love them for the way the look!

@blackbird: yes!!!! Our kitchen island is constantly cluttered with stuff that doesn't belong in the kitchen!

We have a table right by the front door that is NEVER clean. When we come in to the house, it's just the natural place to put whatever is in your hands, so even when we clean it off it is covered in mail, shopping bags, etc. again within hours.

The floor and wall around my sons high chair. He throws food all the time and we are always trying to scrape it off those surfaces.

@autumnlove: nooo don't go too dark. You can see everything on espresso coloured floors.
For me it's the desk area of the kitchen. No matter how often I declutter it, crap continues to pile up!

@Freckles: Yeah, maybe a wood grain tile will be more forgiving for crumbs and paw prints!
ugh, our kitchen desk is a disaster too! Junk mail, legit mail, kid's crafts, etc!

All of it. Gahd. I'm so unmotivated. When the baby comes, I'll be "Mrs. Clean" Right...RIGHT?!!

I think I am in the all of it camp! Specifically the kitchen, our bedroom and the powder room- our black dog likes to sleep in there (?!) And it's white tile on the floor and walls so it looks dirty ten minutes after I clean it.

our hardwoods.. they are very dark and with the salt and snow being tracked in and our dog it is so hard to keep them clean.

The kitchen. I always feel like there's something dirty there. The inside of the oven, behind the fridge, the grease on the hood of the stove, ugh it's just impossible to keep clean.

I hear on the white tiled kitchen floor. I give up during the week and just sweep & I mop on Sunday after dinner.
And then someone in my family spills their snack on it right after

@autumnlove: ours is the hand scraped style flooring and you can barely tell when the floors aren't clean.

The front entry floors...with the salt, snow, slush and muck this winter, I haven't even bothered. The stroller picks up so much gunk that gets rolled into the entry that it's not worth it. Once the snow stops coming, I'll clean them.
