We've pretty much decided on the name of DD #2. There is another name that I do like, but DH has vetoed it. =( Was there a name you really liked that your DH hated?

Landon. I love that name but DH vetoed it right away! He also vetoed Everett, Logan, Kolbe, Max…. most of the names that I liked.

Briar, Sage, and Reed. Ah well, turns out he has much better taste in baby names than I do, lol.

@stargal: I’ve loved it for SO long (Just to make myself sound pathetic…since I saw “A Walk to Remember” for the first time!) so I was really disappointed when he vetoed it right away.

He vetoed my top boy and girl names, Elliot and Norah.
He also hated Griffin, Dominic, Julian and Gabriel for boys and Sawyer, Rose, and Eleanor for girls.

Andrew and Clayton, my two favorite boys names of all time. I was sooo disappointed! He has bad associations because of people he knew with those names.

DH vetoed Jack and Elliot. He liked all of my girl names though!

I was lucky, DH mostly agrees with my name choices.. The only one that popped up that he vetoed was Declan.

@Running Elley: My DH really liked Landon. We were actually set to use that name and then he heard some mom in the grocery store call her son Landon and now doesn't want to use that name anymore. Ugh!
He vetoed a lot of my names. He's a teacher and seems to have a negative connotation with every freakin name I suggest.

Almost allllll of them. Notably Harrison, which was my absolute first choice. Also Charlie (he was open to Charles, but I just wanted it to be Charlie officially).

My #1 boy name; Thatcher. Still breaks my heart a little. But I vetoed his #1 pick in retaliation ( Maverick), so he didn't totally win.

I really liked Jalen for a boy but he hated it. And for a girl, I really liked Quinn. Of course he hated that too.

Nolan...I've loved that name for years and he just wouldn't give into it. I also liked Drew, Rowan, and Donovan and those were all no's for him.

He vetoed every single name on my list (about 25) except Michael. Our son's name is Michael. Sigh

So many! My faves that he vetoed were Max, Henry, Nathaniel(Nate), Theo, and Owen.

@Running Elley & @stargal: my DH LOVED Landon, but I vetoed it. I know too many Landons (and one of his close friends just had a Landon). He also loved Brody, but I have a good friend that has a Brodie, so I said no way.
I loved Isla and Lila and he did not. He also vetoed Clementine/Emme.

We both just wrote our lists of names we each loved and compared them.
He vetoed...Bailey, Corrine, Rosalie, Audrey, Nathaniel,. Nolan, Caden, Byron and Reid.I vetoed- Joselyn (which has been a huge fight), Lydia, Allison, Wyatt and Max

Quincy for a girl! We ended up naming one of our dog's Quincy instead... I still think it would be adorable though!

Landon is his middle name (and 4th generation at that) so we were definitely going to use it if we had a boy.

@bree72: Thatcher is an awesome name. He missed the boat on that one. "Thatch" is such a strong nickname!

Carlotta and Phillipa. Those were big fats NOs from him. I also liked Sylvie and Lenora, which he vetoed realllll fast.

@Mrs. Jacks: I really like that name but my husband and mom didn't like it. Boo.
I also like Landon but that got vetoed too. We ended up with Skyler (boy) and now everyone who hasn't seen him calls him a she/her.
