* no idea what to put this under*
I have seen people mention they hate goodie bags and all the crap in them for parties - so I thought I would ask what would you like to get?
Bonus points if its Frozen related!

I actually don't mind, my son loves a goodie bag full of junk, so I let him take it and then slowly, he plays with the stuff and when it's done, it's done.

In the past she has gotten a little pad of paper and I throw it in the bag for when we are out. Or even a small set of markers.
Candy usually gets thrown away in our house but a fun granola bar or bag of pretzels is fun.
Bubbles or stickers are also a hit. For girls, a piece of play jewelry.

I wouldn't mind my kid getting some sort of coloring or sticker book. Or a regular book! I wouldn't mind playdoh either - just add it to our collection. And I'd be okay with candy.

Stickers or markers, coloring book and crayons, balloons, seeds or a small indoor houseplant (if age appropriate, I think letting kids grow something is great), hotwheels.

Both me and my son like when the goodie bag has snacks in it. We went to a Dutch themed birthday party recently, and the host gave out bags with Dutch cookies and raisins. My son really liked it, and it's not going to add clutter to our house, because it gets eaten.

Stickers, balloons or a treat, basically something that doesn't stick around long!
Eta: temporary tattoos!

My friend had a party for her 3 year old this summer and the gift bag was a little bag of cheap candy and a $5 gift card for a local frozen yogurt chain, which I thought was a genius idea that I'm thinking about stealing.
We're having a semi-Cookie Monster themed party for my son in a few weeks and I was thinking I might send chocolate chip cookies home with everybody.

I prefer a single thing to a bunch of little pieces of plastic things. Some things we've gotten or given along these lines - a little ceramic piggy bank, a small board book, small coloring book and crayons, an inflatable beach ball.

Cups! Those plastic character cups that are 99cents. I don't feel bad throwing them out and we actually use them!

Any sort of arts & crafts related items or role play items. Nothing with small parts!

stickers, temporary tattoos, and E loves cheap plastic light up jewelry and crap like that. Those cheap coloring books are great, too!

Honestly I prefer nothing. Barring that, something edible. We really don't need anymore stuff and there are just so many birthday parties!

Cups or a Book. Target has disney cups for $0.92 and I got some great cheapier board books for $1 at the Dollar Tree.
I also dont mind snack size bags of goodies...like goldfish, cheezits, annies...those are all great too in my mind.
Candy and small little things annoy me - but thats just me probably!

A couple of hot chocolate and tea (for the adults) packets? Or a bar of chocolate and a recipe for making hot chocolate?

Crayons and Frozen-themed coloring sheets. Staple them together and make a "coloring book". Or buy some $1 Frozen coloring books? We did this and two other friends did it after we did and it was a win for both the parent and the kid. Most of the kids colored on the way home from the party!

Crayons or stickers or other craft/art stuff. Cute bandaids. Or a small book.

@catlady: haha love the bandaid idea! My almost 4 yo is obssesed.
@Mamaof2: Frozen band aids are like $2 something at Target.

We did a frozen party last year and our favors were:
Frozen board books from the $1 section at Target
Frozen stamps (these on Amazon: Disney Frozen Anna Elsa Olaf 30x Stampers Self-inking Birthday Party Favors https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LNMEWHQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_EevJwbB5VH0EN)
Bag of frozen jelly belly beans
An age appropriate frozen toy I got from party city or dollar store (ex: jump rope, musical instrument, puzzle).
i prob spent $4-5 on each child.
And of course all the treats from the dessert table

@catlady: Ahh, brilliant! I would be SO THRILLED if LO got Band-Aids!

@Greentea: This would be my list as well. Cute tattoos as well. I don't have much issue with favors, honestly, I like doing them and try to do things my kid would play with too.

@pinkcupcake: those stamps are awesome! Saving the idea for DD's 4th!

Overall, I don't mind goodie bags!
Personally, I could do without: tiny/cheap bubbles (bc my kids aren't careful enough and they end up spilling), sweets, homemade treats,
Fan of: books, cups, markers/crayons, play-doh, stickers (except the cheap ones that don't peel off easily on their own and I have to do it haha), prepackaged snacks (pretzels, fruit shredz, goldfish, etc)
cantaloupe / 6751 posts
@regberadaisy: and they work well even though they are cheap! Ours are still stamping today, almost a year later
If anyone needs frozen ideas, feel free to ask me - I spent way too much time on her party last year and have tons of frozen suggestions

@catlady: love the band aids and if I can find Shopkins theme band aids, may do that this year did you give a few per bag or an entire box?

@honeybear: adorable. And then package marshmallows look like Olaf! Haha

@honeybear: oh cute! I did see a a little "do you want to build a snowman" printable - I could put that in the bag and then tie it with the balloon!

I don't mind goody bags. We went to a frozen party recently and we got Frozen fruit snacks, pad of drawing paper, markers, stickers and goldfish crackers.

@Mamaof2: we did the "do you wanna build a snowman" - couple marshmallows, pretzel sticks, tic tacs and chocolate chips kids loved it! Almost everyone assembled them at the party while eating.

I like healthy snacks and treats (fruit snacks, dried fruits, etc). My LO likes stickers, stampers, crayons, etc.
I typically take away the chocolate and sugary treats.
pomegranate / 3272 posts
Honestly. . . nothing. The only one that I've ever liked is when we got a book.
