... do you recommend for toddlers with wide feet? My son still has pretty fat/wide feet and I haven't been happy with what we've had so far. Tia!

Both of my kids have wide feet and I have been buying Vans. It has worked great for them.

@BunnyDragon: my LO has normal sized feet, but I can never get Vans slip-ons on her feet! How do you do it?

@BunnyDragon: My son has Vans slip ons now and I love the look and they are definitely long and wide enough but I echo @HabesBabe: that they are SO hard to get on. What's your secret?
@anbanan15: thanks! I will check them out.

@coopsmama: my lo has wide and fat feet. We took him to stride rite had his feet measured and they fit perfectly. Really easy to put on and cute

My friend's son has wide feet and only Stride Ride will work on his feet.

@Smurfette: @mrs.shinerbock: @BabyMats: That's great but also kind of annoying because I don't think they have as cute of a selection for boys as other brands. I'll check them out today though, thanks.

@Mrs. Bee: agree. We have always bought stride rite and this past pair of shoes we bought was the first time we bought normal width. He is 3.

We always liked Stride Rite but her chubbiness did go away and she can fit into more brands more easily now!

@HabesBabe: @coopsmama: I only buy Vans with velcro. I had a hard time putting on slip on shoes (Vans has really cute ones!) on the kids so I just stick with what works for them.

@coopsmama: dont get me wrong some of their stuff is pretty funky looking. But I feel I found 3 pairs that I really liked for my son.

@coopsmama: Yeah, my sister thinks the same about Stride Rite. Another brand that she has had luck with is Tsukihoshi. I've not bought any, but 1 of her LOs has wide feet and she bought a pair of these and liked it.

For sneakers I usually buy my LO New Balance bc they come in wide in every size. I buy them on my vip zappos acct and they always have plenty of sizes in wide available and free overnight shipping.
Her toms always seem wide/fit nice even though they're not technically a wide shoe.
