The can of Mountain Dew I'm drinking right now. I quit the sugary drinks last week when I was diagnosed with GD, but I have my appointment with my dietician later today and I know that starting tomorrow I have to keep a log of my diet and blood sugars, so I'm sneaking in one last can before then. I know, I know. Bad. But after this I won't be having a single one for approximately 10 weeks, so I'm cutting myself some slack.

Getting off-track with exercise. I was doing so well for awhile! I have a beach trip in a little over a month, so I need to get back to it -- eek!

@loki: the same thing happened to me. I was so upset but a PA at my RE's office told me I could delay TTC and lose the weight or TTC and lose the weight later. I'm glad I didn't delay TTC.

@swedishfish: ya i worried if i waited until i lost the weight, well... i might never ttc. at least being pg has motivated me to be a lot healthier and more active... so hopefully it's a blessing! (i mean, obviously it's a blessing but hopefully it's a blessing to my health habits too!)

LO is sleeping right now and I feel like there are a hundred things I could/should do. Most importantly job hunting. Or editing the photos from a photoshoot I had last weekend. But it's been a sort of rough day and mama needs a break so I'm HB'ing and about to do some reading of the first book I've started since Fia was born.
Need to get back into it ASAP, but first trimester ickiness needs to end first.
