My son likes to help washing the dishes! I try to encourage it, and then after he leaves, I wash them again ha.
Both kids are really is into helping us though, so I want to add to their chore list (and maybe tie it to an allowance). Need some ideas for chores appropriate for a 4 year old and a 6 year old!

The only thing I really consider her "chore" is setting the napkins at the table. It's something we ask her to do every night. Then at the end of the week we give her a quarter for her piggy bank.
But she really enjoys helping in the kitchen and putting her dirty clothes in the hamper. Those are two things she consistently does by herself, without prompting.

DD is 2 so she still needs a lot of prompting and assistance, but her chores are feeding the dog, throwing her diapers away and putting her dirty laundry in the hamper, and picking up her toys.

DS is 2 and he puts away his toys, puts away his underwear and socks when the laundry is done, and puts his dirty clothes in the laundry basket.
