We're going with a green glass tile backsplash in the kitchen. So I want a bold green accent wall in the dining room which is adjacent to the kitchen and both open into the living room.
I want a bold green - not Kelly green but my husband wants a softer muted green. We'll have to see!

Gray, white and brown. I like it minimalistic and simple! 
I have pops of bright colors here and there so it's not totally boring. hehe

Gray with white molding. We did that ones in an old apartment we rented. We'd have to paint it back to its original color when we moved in so we didn't want to paint all the walls. So we painted 1 wall brick red. It was a nice pop of color.

@banana: me too on the minimalistic. Trying to push myself outside of the decorating comfort zone. One bright accent wall then all the other walls are white. Thinking of a gray living room set then throw pillows in bright greens.

I LOVE color. Our house has an open floor plan so all the colors have to go together. The top kitchen cabinets are yellow and the bottom ones are green, and that connects to the dinning room which is green, which connects to the living room which is yellow.

Taupe--specifically Benjamin Moore's Ashley Gray. DH wanted a warm color and I didn't want anything too yellow. It's an open floor plan so we went for neutrals in the LR, kitchen, and transitional areas.

Our accent wall is a dark gray with brown tones so a really warm grey. And the rest of the walls were supposed to be a little shade of that so light warm gray....well when we painted, they pretty much turned out purple, like a lilac color. It doesn't look bad, but we just weren't expecting purple!

Our kitchin/living/dining room is all one big room, and 3 of the walls are a pale grey, and one big accent wall that is teal. Still love the color combo after 3.5 years!

@Leialou: hahah I know. The first time we did green was in our current master bath. I was looking for a light sage green. It turned out like a double mint commercial!! But the soft green we picked in the guest room at the new house is beautiful. So soft and soothing.

Seashell with white trim and a wood wall. I have lots of colorful art, so I like a light neutral wall. My entryway is robins egg blue and I have a lime green wall in my kitchen though

Ours is Farrow & Balls Cabbage White, it's a very soft blue/green toned white. It glows.

@regberadaisy: Ooooh, sounds pretty! I love using pops of colors throughout our house. Usually I'll add pillows or vases/flowers or picture frames to add color. I just bought bright green file folders to put in my white file folder holder for our office. Love the way it looks!

beige. Same contractor color it was when we moved in. I want to paint it but it's so hard because the family room goes straight into the kitchen and eating area without any break. So, everything would have to be the same color unless we stopped at the counter in the kitchen and that may look weird.

Mint green! We use our living room as a family room, and I wanted a happy color to welcome me every time I walk in the room. After living in our house for 2.5 years, we finally painted our very first room, and I love the mint green walls.

White. I would love to paint but we live on post. If we did decide to paint, we're only allowed to paint one wall per room and it's $250 each. It's crazy!!
