Our office is painted a really rich cranberry color and we want to change it (we moved in a few months ago). However, we have wood built ins and a built in desk that has a blue (!?) desktop and the wood has really warm undertones, almost red). The window trim, baseboards and french door trim is all painted a creamy tan color. There is wall to wall carpet that has a pattern to it and it's tan/cold with some navy in it.
I've tried all the classic Benjamin Moore tan shades and some with gold undertones (Danville Tan, Winchester Tan, Quincy Tan, Bleaker Beige, Shaker Beige, Wainscot? something or other). Nothing is working. Considering going with a gray blue color instead?!
The office is off our family room / open floor plan area which is painted Agreeable Gray (Sherwin Williams), which is basically the same thing as Revere Pewter.
